Itinerary
Begin your journey at 9:00 AM from the Lawson at Oriental Hotel Fukuoka Hakata Station. 10:00 Discover the Beauty of Shiraito Falls in Itoshima Escape the city and immerse yourself in the refreshing nature of Itoshima’s hidden gem—Shiraito Falls, located halfway up Mt. Hagane at 900 meters above sea level. Recognized as a scenic spot by Fukuoka Prefecture, this beautiful 24-meter waterfall lives up to its name, as the water flows down like fine white silk threads. In the summer, the cool mist and powerful spray offer a refreshing break from the heat, filling the air with negative ions and the soothing sounds of nature. It's the perfect spot to relax, recharge, and connect with the outdoors. Just steps from the parking area, you’ll find a peaceful walking trail where you can enjoy the gentle murmur of streams and the melodies of birds in the forest. Don’t forget your camera—every turn offers a picture-perfect view worth capturing.
Next, explore Raizan Sennyoji Daihiōin, one of the region’s top fall foliage spots. Admire the grand 4-meter tall wooden statue of the Thousand-Armed Kannon and the 500 Rakan statues along the mountain slope. This temple dates back to 742 AD, with many cultural treasures including nationally designated Important Cultural Properties. Don’t miss the 400-year-old maple tree—especially breathtaking during November’s peak foliage—and the sacred 900-year-old ginkgo tree further up the hill.(Ticket is excluded)
***Reminder: from Nov.1st, Go to Romantic Hidden Gem in Itoshima – The Coconut Tree Swing. Just a short 1-hour drive from Fukuoka City, you’ll find a seaside paradise that looks straight out of Hawaii. Between two tall coconut trees hangs a simple wooden swing — once you push off, it feels like you’re flying straight into the ocean. The sea breeze, the sound of waves, and the golden sunlight make every moment here feel like a scene from a dream.
Then, step into a scene straight out of a Studio Ghibli film. Hidden inside Keya no Ōto Park, this forest trail surrounded by thick coastal brush resembles the mysterious Totoro forest. With sunlight barely peeking through the lush canopy, the path is a magical spot perfect for photos and imagination alike.
Visit one of Fukuoka's most iconic spiritual landmarks: the Meoto Iwa "Wedded Rocks", connected by a sacred rope, just off the coast. Framed by a stunning white torii gate and blue ocean, this is a popular power spot for love and good fortune. Known historically as a gateway to the Dragon Palace, the site is especially photogenic in all seasons.
Soar 234 meters above sea level at Fukuoka Tower, Japan’s tallest seaside tower. With 360° panoramic views from its observation deck at 123 meters, you’ll enjoy stunning cityscapes, Hakata Bay, and even mountain ranges in the distance. The building itself is a marvel, shimmering with 8,000 mirrored glass panels. (Ticket is excluded) 17:30 Arrival at Fukuoka Hakata Station.(Return and arrival time is estimated. It will be affected by traffic and weather conditions)

Great trip to see the beauty of the Fokuoka region
I would highly recommend this tour - it’s a little quieter and smaller than the others but was absolutely worth it especially during the summer as it cover beaches. The tour guide Ella was very helpful and accommodating, thank you!
Worth it, totally loved every part of the tour. The tour guide was helpful and explained everything in full detail
I felt the roughness of passing. Drive too fast and feel safe!
Recommended if you want to see the various attractions around Fukuoka at a reasonable price. With the travel bus, you will be taken to the place where you have time to explore on your own. The tour is guided in English and Chinese, with the guide primarily speaking in Chinese and conversing with the guests in that language. I would have liked a bit more information in English, but otherwise it was good.
5/5 even though it rained the tour guide Saki made it a fantastic experience
This was by far the best excursion we did on our two week trip to Japan. Everything was well organized and our guide Robert was very informative and funny. He was helpful and offered advice and assistance for anything and everything regarding Fukuoka, including assistance with dinner reservations or outside requests. Each of the stops was interesting and fun and although it was a long and rainy day, it did not seem like it. We had an amazing trip and highly recommend doing this.
Elvis accompanied us perfectly in English and Chinese and gave us a lot of useful additional information
Honestly it was an exceptional day! The places visited are outside the city, but no less interesting! This allowed me to see the famous white Torii, which is worth seeing! During the visit to the temple in the mountains, the monks gave us a small demonstration! The guide who was with us was also great! She explained to us with remarkable English the meaning of the different places in addition to taking photos of the participants when we needed them! It was my best excursion I could do in Japan! The places chosen are really small gems that are worth a visit!
Sun took great care of us was very knowledgeable about all the sites we visited. Willing to jump in and help with pictures when needed. Highly recommend the trip!
