Itinerary
We will meet in front of the Molly Malone Statue located on Suffolk Street. We will begin our exciting journey by crossing the west coast of Ireland toward Connemara. We will take an exceptionally scenic route towards Oughterard, which is considered to be the gateway into Connemara! While passing through charming little towns along the way, you will have the luxury of encountering views that are truly unmatched anywhere else across the land! Any signs or boundaries do not mark Connemara National Park; you will realize you have arrived from the breathtaking surroundings.
This tour includes boat cruise around Killary harbour. Ireland has only one fjord and we are heading straight for it – the Killary Fjord. Marvel at the thriving mussel beds and look out towards Mweelrea, the highest mountain range on the west coast of Ireland.
Our next stop is to Kylemore Abbey, said to be one of the most romantic castles in Ireland. Here you can get some photos of this amazing setting and relax for some lunch ( not included entrance to castle not included).
On your return to Dublin we will stop at one of Ireland’s best loved cities. Galway is young and bohemian attracting the weird and the wonderful from the four corners of Ireland and beyond. The streets are bustling with street performers and musicians which will keep you entertained during your time there.
We will arrive back in Dublin after an exciting and unforgettable journey discovering the savage beauty that is Connemara.

Very interesting tour. Our driver Richard O’Brien made it really great with lots of interesting about the specific scenery and Ireland life in general.

We missed the bus by 3 minutes. They called us to check our eta but had to leave. Could not wait. Disappointed.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you missed the departure by a few minutes and understand your disappointment. Unfortunately, the tours do need to depart on schedule in order to keep the day running smoothly for all guests. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
I don't know. You tell me. You cancelled on me so I did not experience Connemara. However I was able to experience Giant's Causeway...absolutely lovely.
Anthony was the tour guide and driver. He was kind, courteous, and knew the history that I wanter to learn. I was on the tour solo and I sat in the front. I felt very comfortable and he answered all my questions and never complained.
Connemara is breathtakingly beautiful. Our driver Anthony was amazing, knowledgeable and funny. Great experience. Even though I would have preferred to skip the trip to Galway and just experience the beauty of Connemara.
Thank you for your kind words about Connemara and our driver, Anthony. We appreciate your feedback and we will ha in mind your preference for a longer stay in Connemara to enjoy it even more. Your input is valuable, and we'll use it to enhance our tour offerings. Irish Day Tours
Great driver and guide. They enjoy doing their work. Wonderful landscape. To do without hesitation.

We were scheduled for the Connemara trip that got cancelled, and chose the Celtic tour among the offered alternatives. It turned out to be a good idea, the tour itself was interesting for learning about irish history/background and our guide (Jonathan) was very informative and attentive.
Absolutely disappointed by Irish Day tours. I had booked for 4 for 15 July 2023...we arrived at designated meeting spot only to be informed the tour was cancelled..no email, message or phone call from the company.... terrible way to run a company..will never use their company again..
We had a wonderful time. Mr Nixon, our guide, was so nice and knowledgeable. On top of that, we were blessed with very pleasant weather.
Our trip to Connemara by Irish day tours was cancelled on 29th of April 2023. Nobody informed us before and we had to ask around on the tour morning (6:30 am) to know that it was cancelled due to low number of bookings (only 4 ) as one of the other routes drivers said. So, nobody was even sent to inform us it is cancelled. This is very disappointing and I will never book with them again.
