Had a great time of this trip. Tour guides was very knowledgeable, patient, and provided quality service.
Despite suffering a long delay in our flight, the excursion went well. Hamdy did his best so that we could proceed with the excursion and do as many activities as possible. Hamdy was always very attentive and helpful: he is a great guide. The driving and food were also good. Greetings from Spain🇪🇦
Excellent day spent visiting the most beautiful sites of this city. Everything was great! Our transfer to the airport went smoothly in either direction, thanks to our driver Ahmed for his communication and punctuality. We had taken a Francophone guide who explained a lot about each place visited, thanks to him for having taught us so much with courtesy and panache! Lunch was very good, buffet style, from a roof terrace overlooking a nice relaxing view. The felucca ride at sunset was very nice. And we warmly thank our driver Tamer sur Luxor whose kindness and desire to get to know each other positively marked us. Rest in a hotel room instead of a long wait at the airport was a sign of respect for us. Thanks also to Nice tour with whom the exchanges were very fluid and constructive!
We booked the NICE Tours day trip to Luxor from Cairo with some reservations. So many possibilities for things to go wrong in terms of transport - car pickups and flights - as well as being unsure of how well the visits to the key attractions - the Valley of Kings and the various major temples - would work out. In the event, despite it being a long day with an 05.30 pickup from our hotel and a return at 02.00 the next day, it should be noted that EVERY element of the trip worked perfectly. The initial hotel pickup, the check-in at Cairo Airport and flight to Luxor then being collected at Luxor Airport all worked out absolutely fine. The tour itself was truly amazing - helped by having the remarkable Prof Mahmoud Hasan as our guide. An absolute fountain of knowledge with respect to ancient Egyptian history and such personable and amusing company, he ensured that we not only saw everything we wanted to visit but also that we learnt so much about the extraordinary history behind these wonderful sites. We finished with an enjoyable felucca sailing trip then had the benefit of staying for a few hours at a small local hotel which NICE had organised for us given the late timing of our return flight to Cairo. Even at the hotel, the manager ensured we could organise food and drinks to make our short stay as comfortable as possible. It would also be remiss of us not to mention the excellent service of the driver - Mohammed - provided by NICE for our tour. A genuinely nice guy who did all the hard yards of driving us all around Luxor then collected us late at night to take us to the airport, all the time with a smile and very friendly personality. Finally, when we arrived back at Cairo Airport in the early hours, we quickly found our driver who was again a personable individual and who made our journey back to the hotel an easy and comfortable trip. One last important point to note is that all of the interactions with drivers, tour guide and the tour company itself were done via WhatsApp which made the entire process extremely easy. Indeed, I want to compliment NICE Tours on their regular contact and ready availability which made us feel we would be able to address any question or problem promptly. For visitors to Egypt on a short trip as my wife an I were, I highly recommend the NICE Tours Day Trip to Luxor - it was an excellent experience.
Our guide, Abdelhameed Yosry, and our driver, Amr, worked to provide a full day of comfortable activity for us. Our guide was very friendly, confident, knowledgeable and clearly eager to help us enjoy our tour. We were led through the crowds and situated where we needed to be to have the best experiences. Amr was a great driver in the challenging traffic. He was courteous and thoughtful -- opening doors, slowing down, opening widows for picture taking and providing a snack late in the day. We recommend these men and this tour.
Hamdy was my guide. It was a very satisfying tour with a cheerful and kind guide 🙂 The driver’s car was also very beautiful and comfortable 😍
