Enjoy artisanal foods including; an artisanal NY hot dog from Dickson’s, Sicilian Pizza from Filaga, NY State Cheeses from Saxelby’s, a delicious Italian Crostata from Buon Italia, a Japanese inspired Taco from Takumi Taco, Buttermilk Biscuit and Homemade Jam from Sarabeth’s, Gelato from L’arte Del Gelato, and always something special from Chelsea Market Baskets. We were given a gift certificate by our son. I'm a picky eater and was a bit hesitant but when I saw all the choices of tours that were offered, we chose the Chelsea Market tour. I really enjoyed it. Joe was our guide, and he was so knowledgeable, fun and friendly. The food was very good. The one thing I didn't eat, I was able to take home so my husband could enjoy a "second helping". Make sure to visit Chelsea Market Baskets - they have delicious chocolates, teas, and fun items to buy for yourself or as gifts.

We enjoyed learning about the meatpacking district, Chelsea market history and the vendors in the market. If we had not gone with Joe as our guide, we would have likely just walked in and eaten one place and left. We loved sampling options, no lines and all of the vendors clearly knew and liked Joe. We enjoyed then walking up on the high line. Definitely worth the time to enjoy vs just eat in the market. Come hungry bc the food samples are super generous and quite a variety.
