The ad says that they will take you out to the coral. They do not. You go a few minutes out in the sound and have about 20 minutes to snorkel in shallow grassy water next to the mangroves. Next you don't go to a real sandbar, you head a few more minutes to a shallow area next to the highways and have about another 20 minutes to swim. Which you could just pull over in your car and do for free. Beers are also 11 dollars a piece and a few is added at the end. 54 dollars for 4 cans of beer. Drive another 10 minutes down to the nature preserve and enjoy the actual reef unrushed.
Very nice and friendly crew, the boat ride was cool they provided the mask and snorkel. It was mainly a sandbar excursion with snorkels provided, not visiting a coral reef. Very beginner friendly and amazing for the prize really recommend!!
It got canceled on us. Didn't even go called day before and was not notified it was canceled will not book through here again..
We truly apologize for the inconvenience. Due to the 30 miles per hour winds, the captain made the decision to cancel the tour for safety reasons, as it wasn't safe to move the boat. Unfortunately, it seems you were not notified in time, and we understand how frustrating that can be. We would love to help resolve this and offer another option for you. We had the time of our lives on our snorkel trip! So much so, that we had Captain Emma book us for the next day as well. She made those two days the highlight of our trip. The first half is an amazing snorkel experience, and the second is relaxing on the sand bar with paddle boards, floaties, and of course, drinks! We can't wait to book next year, THANK YOU EMMA!!
It was an amazing trip! I would book again in a heartbeat. We has two great staff members. We snorkeled and saw lots of fish. We then went to the sandbar and hung out there for the reminder of the trip. I will definitely book here again when I come down again!
Amen and his crew were great! We were able to visit alligator reef lighthouse as well as a second deeper spot. Saw stingrays, turtles, and even a goliath grouper. The boat was clean and comfortable. The time spent in the water was perfect. Would definitely take this snorkel trip again
Showed up at 8:30, a half hour early to the meeting point, which is expressed in the instructions included in the ticket, for a 9am start. We were completely no showed by this tour company. Called the number and reached some place in New York. Called viator who thankfully refunded our money. Do not book this!
We booked online (and paid) weeks in advance for the 9am, 4hr snorkel/sandbar trip. When we arrived, we were informed that they not only didn’t have our reservation, the trip started at 10am. They said they didnt get anything from Viator, the third party vendor.
It was fun being on the sandbar! We went to the snorkel area first then went to the sandbar for 90 minutes. There was a food truck/boat at the sandbar and the boat was well stocked with beer, water and rum punch! Met new people! Brady and Gunter were great!
5/5 - We had a wonderful time! The crew and captain were so nice and helpful. They took us to two spots - snorkeling and then the sand bar. Both were beautiful spots. Free drinks and rum punch. They had pool noodles and snorkeling gear for everyone.
