Tommaso, our guide, organized this tour for us. Instead of simply reciting dates, he taught us about the rivalry between the various painters in Florence and how the Medici family effectively managed the entire show. It made the statues in Piazza della Signoria seem more intriguing. Pisa was a welcome change of pace after that—the white marble of the Cathedral and Tower against the blue sky is simply breathtaking. We closed the day with a short cappuccino at a nearby bar that our driver recommended.
This tour is full, but in a nice manner. You may see both cities key attractions without wasting any time. For me, Florence was more enjoyable because the architecture and streets have so much personality. Nevertheless, if you're short on time, it's still a great way to see both locations.
Riccardo observed our tastes; they discovered we were more interested in architecture and spent more time describing Brunelleschi's Dome. The service was superb, and the logistics were flawless.
Having a private vehicle allowed us to speak and ask questions without being crammed into a packed 50 person coach, and the service was excellent throughout. This is the best option if you want to truly comprehend the history of Florence and Pisa Golden age without having to deal with hassles of a cruise group.

Places we visited were wonderful. Marty was an awesome tour guide, very kind and thoughtful and very knowledgeable! So happy we took it! The driver was great too. We were late coming back from Pisa and they dropped us right at the port.
Booked this trip thru Trip Advisor for a small group tour We ended up on a double decker bus with around 200 on it We booked small group. next we were left in pouring rain for at least 15 mins waiting for the huge bus Next at every stop we had to walk at least 29 to 30 mins from where bus dropped us and again in heavy rain Why do the buses hv to park so far away I totally understand parking city restrictions but there must be a better way When we arrived at Pisa again a twenty min walk from bus the the tower and was left to make our own way back to bus I want to know how we ended up on this bus when we paid for a small group and it is on my documentation This was very poorly organised and if you hv trouble walking etc ( we did not have any health issues) don’t even consider Lastly obviously we need to double check what we paid for we get Very poor

Florence and Pisa welcome millions of visitors each year. To keep traffic moving, buses are required to use designated state parking areas. 5. The tour description clearly states that it is not wheelchair or scooter accessible and is not recommended for guests with limited walking ability such as yourself. 6.
