Enjoy the true art of flamenco at Tablao La Carmela. Located very close of Puerta del Sol, in the old coal cellars of the Taberna "La Carmela" was a former Convent of La Victoria, demolished in 1836 after the War of Independence. Every night the best dancers (known as bailaores) come to the Tablao La Carmela, who will make you enjoy this art in each of their shows. If you choose the "Picoteo Menu”, you can discover the flavours that reflects the past and present of the tablao while you enjoy the show.

The Tablao Flamenco la Carmela, a mystical place full of history, is the best Flamenco Tablao to enjoy a unique experience. Under the direction of the master Juan Andrés Maya and Raquel Martos, it is the most revolutionary and characteristic tablao on the current flamenco scene. Artists such as Kiki Morente, Farru, Remedios Amaya, La Lupi or Antonio Canales are in the tablao every night.

We attended the 1 hour show and it was incredible . The dancing was amazing as was the singing . The dance was beautifully choreographed .
Really good evening - passionate performance from the 8 performers, great view, brilliant acoustics, and surprisingly good tapas with the drink option. Very hapyy.
Loved the dancers, musicians & the cave like atmosphere of this event. We had the tapas & really enjoyed it all. Definitely worth it.
This performance was so moving and majestic. The skill and beauty in this performance was mesmerizing. The story it tells through music is enchanting.
Amazing show , chose the tapas option which came just before show started . Great atmosphere & dancers were fabulous. The setting downstairs was perfect too. Tali Rico was on the door and the waiter downstairs were both polite & professional.
