Itinerary
Established in January 1987, the mosque is named after King Faisal bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, the former ruler of Saudi Arabia. Sheikh Abdullah Al Khayal, the director general of the Sharjah Department of Islamic Affairs, says the prayer halls can accommodate almost 17,000 people. Before it was the largest mosque in the emirate.
It is one of Sharjah’s biggest square, covering an area of more than 60,000 square-meters in Al-Sour district. The union monument is placed in the middle of the area and is decorated with seven oysters each with a pearl inside which represent each of the seven Emirates. The seven oysters surround the central pillar, which is crowned with a golden pearl symbolizing the union of the Emirates.
Designed in traditional Islamic style with arches and domes, Souq Al Jubail attracts more than half a million shoppers every month. The more than 100 species of colourful creatures on display provide plenty of fantastic photo opportunities too. The fish market is a part of the huge Souq Al Jubail, which also includes sections for fruit and vegetables, dates and meat. It is located between Corniche Road and Sharjah Creek, near the Central Souk.
Popularly known as the Blue Souk, thanks to its beautiful blue tiles, this two-storey souk consists of two long parallel buildings connected by indoor bridges. It is one of Sharjah’s most photographed buildings and even features on the UAE five-dirham bank note. Shops on the ground floor sell modern jewellery, watches and clothing; upstairs there are arts, crafts and curios from the region, as well as stores specialising in handmade Persian carpets and colourful kilims from Afghanistan and Kashmir. Don’t miss the gold and diamond shops, mainly found on the lagoon-side of the souk. Alongside precious stones and exquisite gold, silver and authentic Bedouin jewellery, there are craftsmen who can recreate a design based on a photo or sketch.
Built in 1845, Bait Al Naboodah is set around a sun-drenched courtyard with walls made of coral. The charming two-storey house features a grand entranceway, elaborately carved decorations and wind catchers on the walls. Wander through the various rooms, admiring the craftsmanship and ingenuity of traditional Gulf architecture in an age before air conditioning, and learn about the daily routines of the prominent pearling family who once lived here.
Built in 1823 and fortified by three towers, Al Hisn fort has served as a seat of government, a royal residence, a prison and now a museum. A row of cannons welcomes visitors, with 12 galleries offering insight into the emirate and its ruling family. Step inside a round prison cell, discover how to properly present a sword to a sheikh, and pour over historic photographs, old weaponry and exhibits about the naval strength of Sharjah’s Qawasim tribe.
Situated in the historical heart of Sharjah on the Majarrah Waterfront, this fascinating Museum is housed in what was once a traditional Middle Eastern souq or indoor market. The new Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization presents more than five thousand exquisite Islamic artifacts from all over the Islamic World, arranged according to themes and spread over seven spacious galleries and display areas.
Ajman Museum is the emirate’s foremost museum illustrating life as it once was. The 18th-century fort served as the ruler’s residence until 1970, before it was converted into a museum a decade later. You’ll find the museum on the east side of the central square in the Al Bustan area. The museum opens from Saturday - Thursday (8:00am - 8:00pm), and on Friday (2:30 pm - 8:00 pm) and displays are annotated in both Arabic and English. The exhibits offer a compelling glimpse of Ajman’s past, from centuries-old manuscripts and weaponry to models of wooden dhows and ingenious irrigation systems. One of the most notable displays is an excavated cemetery discovered in the Al Muwaihat area, which features pottery and funeral jewellery dating back as far as 3000 BC. A section is devoted to the pearl trade that once dominated the region, while the fort itself is a perfect example of traditional Emirati architecture.
Umm al-Quwain is one of the United Arab Emirates. Umm al-Quwain city lies on the Arabian Gulf. On a peninsula, the old town area features the UAQ National Museum, in a centuries-old fort. Nearby, Al Sinniyah Island sits in a protected lagoon and is a haven for seabirds. Dreamland Aqua Park offers waterslides and pools. Inland, a camel racetrack is just outside the village of Falaj Al Moalla.
Ras Al Khaimah is the northernmost emirate of the United Arab Emirates. It's known for its Arabian Gulf beaches.
Dibba Al-Fujairah is a city in the emirate of Fujairah, located on the northeast part of the United Arab Emirates. It is geographically part of the Dibba region. Dibba Al-Fujairah is considered to be the
The Al Bidya Mosque (Arabic: مسجد البدية, sometimes transliterated Al Bidyah or Al Badiyah) is the oldest extant mosque in the United Arab Emirates or Fujairah. It is located in a small village in emirate Fujairah about 50 km north from region center. It is also known as Ottoman Mosque.
Khor Fakkan ( romanized: Khawr Fakkān) is a city and exclave of the Emirate of Sharjah, located on the east coast of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), facing the Gulf of Oman, and geographically surrounded by the Emirate of Fujairah. The city, the second largest on the east coast after Fujairah City, is set on the picturesque bay of Khor Fakkan, which means "Creek of Two Jaws". It is the site of Khor Fakkan Container Terminal, the only natural deep-sea port in the region and one of the major container ports in the UAE.
Fujairah is the only emirate that is located completely on the eastern coast of the UAE along the Gulf of Oman. The shores of Fujairah extend along the Gulf of Oman for about 70km. from the city of Fujairah in the south to the town of Dibba in the far north. The total area of the emirate of Fujairah is 1,450 sq. km.
Fujairah Fort is a fort in the city of Fujairah, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Dating back to the 16th century, it is the among the oldest as well as the largest castles in the country.[citation needed] It is noted for playing significant roles in fighting back the wave of colonialism.[citation needed] Today, it is among the main tourist attractions in the city. Found it a very interesting day both geographically and culturally Feared it might have been very tiring but the pace between travelling and viewing was great.
Thank you very much for your kind review! 😊 We’re delighted to hear that you found the tour both geographically and culturally interesting. It’s also great to know that the pace of the tour, balancing travel and sightseeing, made the experience comfortable and enjoyable without feeling tiring. Your feedback means a lot to us, and we’re very happy that you had a pleasant and memorable day with us. We hope to welcome you again on another tour in the future! Warm regards,
I had a great guide and driver Aashiq… And it was good to get out of Dubai and see what the rest of the Emirates was like
Many thanks for your review of the experience and our guide. We look forward to hosting you again next time. Warm regards
Nothing as described! Waste of money . First the car was old and dirty. The 4 of us barely fit . The seats were so uncomfortable my back and hips were hurting the whole day . My poor husband had to crawl in and out of the back seat , who is over 6ft tall . My legs were crammed up to my chest behind the driver . Second . This was the biggest waste of money ! From the horrible car experience to going on absolutely no where . The descriptions lead you to believe yiu will go to mosque . Even though it says admission not included we still should have had the opportunity to go inside . We were suppose to go to the soun to experience the fresh food and fish . Never went inside. All stops were from outside the places ! 5 minutes to take a picture . We stopped for lunch . But by the time we sat down we were rushing to get back to the car . Absolutely a waste of a day and money . The whole day was in this awful car . And we didn’t get any culture experience besides hurry up and take a picture. We went to one museum. Which was free to any visitor. Again we needed over a good hour to tour museum but had to be at car in 40 minutes. The driver offered to stop at a cafe to get coffe or tea . Which the 3 of us wanted . But it was this dirty place off the side of a highway . Then no one wanted anything bc of the place it was going to come from . The driver was ok . But the unprofessional car situation made this day miserable . We were all in the car were in pain from the hard bulging old seats with our legs cramped . Drove by waste your money
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are genuinely sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. And Sorry for the late response too. We would like to clarify that this particular itinerary is designed primarily as a scenic Five Emirates Tour, covering approximately 450 km in one day. Due to the long driving distance and multiple locations covered, stops are planned mainly for viewpoints, short visits, and photo opportunities, rather than extended indoor visits. It appears that your expectations were for a more in-depth cultural and walking-style experience, which unfortunately did not align with the nature of this tour. Regarding the vehicle, we regret that you found it uncomfortable. Guest comfort is very important to us, and we take such feedback seriously for future improvements. As requested after the tour, we processed a 50% refund of the tour cost as a goodwill gesture, despite the tour being operated as scheduled. We hoped this would reflect our willingness to resolve the matter fairly. We are sorry that the experience fell short of what you had hoped for, and we appreciate your comments, which help us improve and communicate tour expectations more clearly for future guests. We wish you all the best in your future travels.
Our tour was amazing, our guide was so informative and a truly lovely guy he showed us some amazing places from Forts,Mosques Mountain scenery to beaches so much to see in one day but the highlight for me was pulling over at side of the road and feeding camels we had spotted on the drive truly memorable and made my day and my trip to Dubai. I would throughly recommend this trip.

If there’s anything we can do to make your next visit even more special, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Best regards,

This was a great way to see the country with each Emirate being different and memorable. I was so amazed at how clean and safe the UAE is. My driver, from Oberon tourism, AAshiq, was very knowledgeble and interesting. The itiniary was full of stops for pictures and sites. What a great day.

Great opportunity to get outside Dubai's sprawl & glitz to see more of the Emirates. Unfortunately the driver/guide lacked solid knowledge of the country as well as sufficient command of English to engage. In addition, he didn't stick to the tour itinerary & was belligerent & argumentative when we endeavored to get him to do so.
Dear Sheryl, Thank you for your feedback. We regret that your experience did not meet expectations and apologize for any issues with the guide’s knowledge, communication, and adherence to the itinerary. Your concerns are important to us, and we will address them to improve our services. We appreciate your input and hope for the opportunity to provide a better experience in the future. Sincerely
I booked this tour to see a little more of Sharjah, and see Ajman and Unm Al Qwair emirates. I had done the other two emirates with friends before. However as I don't drive I thought this could be a good trip. As a positive the driver turned up on time. However after that he missed out several stops deciding to change the itinerary and missed out the Sharjah fort and mosque. Sent us to a museum so he could sit on his phone, we challenged him on the fact he was skipping the boys we wanted to see and rather than apologise he kept telling us what a good job he was doing with all the extras - we reiterated to him we didn't want the extras if he was going to skip the basic itinerary. He said his one was better. He refused to call his boss until I went online and found the details where they then spoke their mother tongue to each other - overall an overpriced waste of a day. You don't see 5 emirates as you drive thru (without stopping- if our driver had his own way). We didn't stop for lunch until 430pm. And then missed the Sharjah fort as it was closed when we went back as he'd skipped it in the morning. Would 100% NOT recommend this trip nor would I suggest using Oberon tourism LLC who operate this tour.
