Itinerary
City where the Sanctuary of Fátima is located, famous for the apparitions of Our Lady to the Little Shepherds.
Modern style basilica built in 2007 and with capacity for more than 8,000 worshipers. with several monuments and small chapels
The Chapel of Apparitions is the "heart" of the Sanctuary of Fátima. It was in the place where the Little Chapel is located that Our Lady spoke to the little shepherds. Of the six apparitions of the Virgin Mary, five took place in this place – May, June, July, September and October – where, upon recommendation of the Lady, a chapel was to be built in her honor.
The Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fátima stands on the spot where the three shepherd children were playing on May 13, 1917 when they saw a flash of lightning moments before the apparition. Inside you can find the tombs of the 3 little shepherds
The architectural complex that supports the image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is located on the primitive structure of the fountain that was built following the drilling carried out there, resulting from the need to find, in Cova da Iria, water to satisfy the pilgrims. Offered to the Sanctuary by a pilgrim
The house in which Lúcia de Jesus, the youngest of six siblings, was born and lived, is located in Aljustrel, about 2 kilometers from the Sanctuary of Fátima.
This was the house in which Blessed Francisco and Jacinta Marto, the two youngest children of the Marto family, were born.

Louis was a fantastic guide. He arrived promptly on time and kept us to schedule. His knowledge was exceptional and he shared information about Fatima in a way that created a great story to remember. He also described areas that we passed during travel and answered questions. There was a perfect balance of structured time and time to explore on our own.
Our guide Luis Sequeira was amazing! He was knowledgeable about the area and the history of Fatima. We were only in for 1 day from a cruise ship and he picked up and dropped off at the port. The day we went it was a local holiday with many children there. He dropped us off as close as he could get to the church and went park then came back to meet us.

Wonderful experience. Tour guide just gave enough time between explaining the area and us to explore on our own.
Thanks for your nice words
Best to do the Fatima tour by itself as the Village is a must see. Plus the local vendors were extremely friendly. Luis was a great tour guide. There were only 4 of us on the tour so that made it even better.
Thanks for your nice words We try to do our bet to give you a nice experience
Fátima tour with a small group & knowledgeable tour guide is the only way to do this trip. Thank you, Dalia for a wonderful experience.
Excellent trip from Lisbon to Fatima. Louis was our guide. He grew up near Fatima, his english was very good, and he was very knowledgeably about Fatima and the Shrine. The tour left plenty of time to visit the homes of the three children. A secret tip, spend time in the area where Gabrielle appeared to the children by the well. It is near Lucia's house..beautiful and peaceful. We went in February and it was windy and cold so check the weather and dress appropriately. It is a unique location you don't want to miss whether visiting from a religious perspective or not. The drive was about 1hour 15 minutes from Lisbon. Portugal had just experienced bad winter storms and severe flooding. We were to return to Lisbon to catch a train to Porto. On his own, due to damage from the weather our guide checked our train and found it had been cancelled. He took it upon himself to find an alternative route from Fatima to Porto by bus. Louis went well above snd beyond expectations for a Fatima tour guide to to help us get to our next destination. Expect to spend about 6 hours including driving if you are coming from Lisbon. It is an excellent and worthwhile day trip. At the shrine be sure to see the site of the aboritions as well as go into the basilica and church.
Wonderful experience tour to Fatima after being picked up at our hotel in Lisbon! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable!
Thanks for your nice words
Luis made this tour very engaging by sharing a wealth of knowledge and taking us through the journey of this sacred place with reverence and grace.
Thanks for your lovely words
First of all I booked the tour long time before because the page said limited availability, to just found out they changed the price from $102 to $86 days before my tour and they didn’t wanted to give me the difference as a credit to an incoming tour I will have. Second the tour guy had us talking in the sun for so long than when he finished we barely had time to enjoy the shrine. I would rather going on my own.
We're sorry you didn't like it, but it's not like that... Firstly, if there was a special offer, which is normal with any product on the market, they didn't ask for a refund, and if you prove to us that they did, we'll be the first to apologize and refund you!!! Secondly, a tour takes a guide who has done his job and, according to him, they had free time after their work. There are always about 2 hours free... maybe it's better, when you're not interested in getting to know the places you're visiting, to buy another type of excursion and, when you don't like the excursion, don't tip like you tipped the guide... something isn't right and we don't refund excursions when we've done our duty.
