A roman treat!

A bit of confusion due to military march occupying meeting place. However the tour was interesting and the added stories (and the guide’s outfit) put history into perspective.

Don’t think it’s widely enough advertised, I came upon it by chance, up I would recommend anyone to do it

An enjoyable and informative tour.

Very informative. Both guides, apologies for not remembering your names, were excellent. Lots of intereresting information, regarding the significance of what each guide was wearing, hierarchy within the Roman empire, Roman Chester and general Roman life. Both guides were friendly and combined humour and information to create a very enjoyable tour.

Roman history in Chester brought to life.

We had a great time on this tour - as an archaeologist our guide was extremely knowledgeable. He made this trip very interesting in the way he delivered the information to our small group and was happy to go at our pace and not rush us through the tour (even though the temperature must have made it very uncomfortable for him wearing his outfit!) Would highly recommend this tour.

In Rome for day!

What a great Guide Tiberius was, he was obviously passionate and knowledgeable about the subject, the talk was informative and interesting, Most of the walk was at ground level, with just a little part going onto the wall... so suitable for most.

Amazing Guide and Well Worth While

Our guide Giaus (Sam) was the best! It was awesome to see bits of Roman history in and around Chester! Giaus put in 150% effort and you could tell that he had a real passion for ancient Roman history. Highly recommend this tour especially for families!
