A very enriching sharing moment, Zakaria and Azzedine were very welcoming, friendly, and created a lively atmosphere (from start to finish, we just laughed). In addition to the cooking class, it was also a moment of sharing to learn more about Morocco. We could not have hoped for a better way to end our trip. I recommend it 200%!
Great day out, good fun excellent value for money. Michel is both an entertainer and a chef! We were picked up on time from central Marrakech and spent a full day at the market and in the farmhouse….the facilities are excellent and the day was fully prepared for us.
We really enjoyed our cooking class with Michel. Blind discovery of spices, a little tea and then everyone in their own workshop (children are welcome). Several recipes ranging from starters to desserts. The place is clean and functional. Everything has been well thought out. Michel is really friendly. I recommend !!!
My husband and I booked this course, and I'm so pleased we did. It was informative, fun, and utterly delicious. Michel was fun, a great teacher, and very knowledgeable. Perfect for all kinds of cook. The farm was lovely and a perfect environment to relax and eat all the lovely food you create. Would happily go back. Thank you.
We had a great time with Michel! A very complete cooking course. Michel came to pick us up from our riad by car, we went shopping at the market, then we arrived at the farm. We started with a blind test on spices, then we prepared the aperitif, several starters, bread, a superb tagine and even a dessert! Everything was super good, thanks to the chef's instructions. We spent almost the whole day there and it was a great time. Michel is very friendly, we had a good laugh. A superb day. If you want to spend a quiet day learning to cook, eat good food and all while chatting and laughing, go for it! Thanks again Michel!!
We had a brilliant time with Michel at his farmhouse cookery school. We loved the experience of buying all the ingredients we were using from a real local market before cooking them. The whole experience is very professional, informative and tasty! Michel's attention to detail and good humour make for a really fun afternoon. We recommend unreservedly
Amazing day out - highly recommended! Hotel pickup, market tour, full day cooking experience! Great day. Michel was friendly, patient and very informative!
A definite highlight of our trip, this all day class on the outskirts of Marrakech was terrific. Just five of us that day (low season) so we got extra attention from Michel, our French-Italian-Moroccan chef. Aside from a transfer mix up in the morning, everything was well organised and relaxed. Michel is fun, cheeky, and generous with his knowledge. Day included a visit at the local market to choose our own fruits and veg and spices, a blind spice smelling test, and cooking tagine, salads, and breads. Best tagine I've had so far was cooked by ME 😂. Tips on identifying real saffron and argan, and sent away with recipes. I won't forget this one. 6 stars.
Unforgettable memory to have fun shopping foods at a local market and enjoy slow cooking at a wonderful & cozy farm. Mercy, Michel!
Michel picked us up from the edge of the Medina and took us first to a local market to pick up some cheap and quality produce for the day. At the farm, he started by doing a blind smell test of the Moroccan spices which is not that easy. Then, we made bread with flour and semolina, cooked a tagine, and three different salads before eating some of it. The facilities were extremely good, it was well run, and the conversation flowed. Definitely one to recommend.
