Fabulous 3 Day Desert Adventure to Merzouga with Small Group

We had a memorable and amazing trip to Morocco. Our driver Mohamed took excellent care of us, gave us great tips and was a pleasure to speak with. We’ll certainly be back!

I don’t post reviews unless something is terribly wrong or in this case, absolutely awesome! Atmane demonstrated care and concern for each person in our group and made sure we all got what we wanted out of the adventure. My family of 6 (50, 48, 20,20,18,16) did the 3 day trip from Marrakech->Sahara->Marrakech. It’s a long trek out and back but certainly worth it. The trip is broken into segments which serve a variety of purpose—either food, bathroom, snack, scenic view or sub tour off the regular tour. When reading the GetYourGuide marketing/description, I was a bit skeptical because in my mind, this is them “selling” what they want you to believe. As I head back from my trip, I say with clear conscious, the description was accurate. Each stop along the way was carefully selected to deliver on value, quality, cleanliness, culture, etc. My wallet didn’t feel raped anywhere we went. I didn’t feel grossed out in any bathroom (which I often do in my travels). And my family heads home a little more aware of the world we live in. In fact, some of the descriptions undersold the reality. Other than the heat which no one can control, I couldn’t have been more pleased by the tents w/ bathrooms after our camel ride into camp. Super clean, nice cool shower, and lights/power. We opted for the quad ride back to civilization. Again pleased, all the quads were identical, newer, and in great shape. I would recommend this option. As we passed the camel caravan’s heading back, it confirmed that I had my fill of camel riding on the way in. Have no fear booking with Discover Sahara Tours. It was a sheer delight to travel the roads of Morocco and admire the spectacular scenery along the way. Our driver, Zohair, was incredibly kind. We appreciated his professionalism, helpfulness, and the wealth of information he shared throughout the trip. Everything about the experience with him was flawless. And what can be said about the desert and those endless dunes? A truly magnificent sight! We highly recommend this experience it was spectacular. If Zohair is your driver, you’ll be delighted!

Incredible experiences and scenery, great guides and accommodation was decent. Lots of driving, but that is not their fault. Price was fantastic.

Atman was an amazing guide . Jawad was also amazing .everything we needed they helped us get it done fast and efficiently,our comfort was their number one priority and they always did what they could to make us comfortable

Really nice!! Atmane Where do I start from, let’s start with the pick up our luggage we’re securely stored and we had a nice road trip to the desert!! The rest of the group were really nice and welcoming!!. I had a little bit of car sickness and the bus stopped for me to get my self together which I really appreciate a lot!! We were able to do the camel ride and quad bike and sand boarding!! Must try!! The food was nice and I would definitely be back!! THANK YOU ATMANE!!!

The activities were amazing and planned across the whole 3 day trip. The guide was really nice and took care of everything and everyone the entire time. The only downside was the accomodation. The hotel room was okay, but the bathroom was very old. The regular tent in the sahara had 6 hard beds for me and my friend who I travelled with, the bathroom also was an entire experience by itself because the shower didn't have a showerhead so you had to manually hold it and there wasn't a constant stream of water. So i'd recommend the luxe tent option.
