The tour will start at the Golden Tours office from Victoria where you will meet your guide at 7:30am for 8:00am departure. Golden Tours is London's foremost sightseeing company. As an iconic part of British culture, the beautiful Windsor Castle is one of the must-visit attractions in the UK. Steeped in history and overlooking the delightful town of Windsor, the Castle is well-documented as the late Queen’s favourite royal residency. Explore the historic Castle in all its glory including the exuberant State Apartments where you’ll see artwork from some of the world’s most legendary artists, Rembrandt and Leonardo da Vinci, and discover St. George’s Chapel, the resting place of the notorious Tudor King Henry VIII and his third wife Jane Seymour. You will also get to see the exquisite Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House that defies belief – a miniature structure complete with functioning lifts, running water and electricity!
St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle is one of the most beautiful ecclesiastical buildings in England, dating back from 1475. The Chapel has hosted several Royal weddings for centuries. The Chapel is also the resting place of the notorious Tudor King Henry VIII and his third wife Jane Seymour. St. George’s Chapel is usually closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services.

- Windsor Castle closures: Every Tuesday and Wednesday and 24-26 December Castle closed
- St. George’s Chapel: St. George’s Chapel is usually closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services.
- Semi-State Rooms: During the winter months an additional five rooms, known collectively as the Semi-State Rooms, are included in the visitor route.
- Infants aged 0-2 can join this tour for free however they must sit on the lap of a parent/guardian. If you would like a seat for your infant, please purchase a child ticket. We do not provide car seats.
- When the State Apartments are closed the Precincts, Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House and the Drawings Gallery will remain open.

Originally booked for Stonehenge and Windsor castle to have more time to explore. Due to operational changes, it was switched to Stonehenge, Windsor, and Oxford. Definitely do try to do the two part instead of the three part tour as it will feel rushed. The tour was great with Gurvinder and Zuzu (I believe that’s how you spell their names). The driving was excellent and the seats on the bus were clean and comfortable. I had a 3.5 month baby and the whole ride was good enough to keep her comfortable temperature wise in the bus. The tour was packed with information and they made everything easy to remember. Do try to be on time for everything as they will not play any games on timing as everything is far away and do arrive a few moments before departure from each stop. Zuzu will explain all details during the trip. Overall very nice group of people, everyone on the trip was satisfied with the great experience.

Arriving at Stonehenge with our small group of 12 was ideal because we were one of the first groups. David provided excellent commentary leading up to the visit. We were not rushed and everyone was mindful of the departure times. When we arrived to Windsor Castle, David provided excellent suggestions allowing us to maximize our time there. I would say this was extremely well executed. Mario the driver was curtious and safely got us to and from each attraction. We didn't feel overwhelmed and Viator delivered on this tour!

Very good experience! I really enjoyed Windsor Castle. Stonehenge was alright, but I would definitely recommend pairing it with something else. David and Luan were great guides as well. At Windsor Castle, I would also recommend walking down Park St to the Long Walk to get a different view of the castle.

It was good. Ours (due to us being only ones signed to just Windsor and Stonehenge) had Oxford added to the itinerary. That made for a long day, but, in hindsight worth it. Good trip. Bill
