Unfortunately, we were not given time to eat and also not to get off at one of the attractions in the city of Naples. Aside from that, the attraction of Pompeii was fine.
Incredibly knowledgeable and humorous guide. She used humor to drive her points, thus promoting interest. Her English was on point, although she is fluent in several languages.
Excellent tour, make sure to stay close to your group as it is easy to get lost sometimes. Bring comfortable shoes.
Our guide Elisa was absolutely wonderful! She is very knowledgeable and super friendly. Pompeii is amazing and I want to spend more time exploring next time I come to Naples. My only “complaint” is the transportation. Finding our tour driver outside of port security was chaotic- there were 3 ships in port, thousands of people there looking for their drivers, and lots of drivers holding signs with several names listed. On our return, we were grouped with someone coming back to the port. Again, there was over a hundred people following a guide to the bus. The group ended splitting and we at the back of the line had no idea which group to follow.
Great experience, learnt so much about Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius as well as highlights in Naples. Truely recommend if you want to take a break from planning everything and just relax as this tour guides you
With the exception of the cathedral, the city tour lacked places of real interest. The scenery was very nice, but nothing really stood out. That said, the tour of Pompeii was outstanding. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting and historical facts. I could have spent more time there.
The tour around Naples was a bit short and uninformative. We were driven to a couple of viewing points and had 20 minutes to walk around the center which is right next to the port anyway. The guide didn’t say much, spending a lot of time on her phone or talking to the driver.
Would have been better to have a full day tour or just do pompeii , naples is lovely but we only realy drove around stopping at 2 view points then for half an hour in the centre for a coffee/toilet break , prob better to do naples on foot for a full day. And pompeii separately, which was stunning and so interesting the guide who was a little frosty towards us , realy knew her stuff at pompeii you could tell she was interested herself and was a fountain of knowledge on the subject and the history of it. Thoroughly enjoyed that part would have liked longer
Great tour; tour guide (Elisa) was very knowledgeable and kind! Her and the drivers provided a wonderful experience as we toured Naples and Pompeii. My son and I are so glad we picked this tour. Three bucket list items checked off in one day! Thank you, Michelle
The Tour operator was very disorganized and got our pick location wrong, which delayed start of tour and confusion on return trip.
