These gleaming landmarks announce your arrival at one of the most surreal natural wonders on Earth — the Bonneville Salt Flats.
Discover the Tree of Utah, a towering 85-foot (26 m) sculpture standing defiantly in the desert, symbolizing endurance and imagination. Then witness the Blue Canal, a brilliant engineering solution that rescued Salt Lake City from historic flooding disasters.

Dima is an excellent guide. The tour was well planned and I appreciated that he did not treat the kids as a bother. My family of 3 adults and 4 kids were engaged in his presentation of the information about Salt Lake City and Utah. I appreciated that Dima would pause and give time for questions. He did the little extras that made the experience totally enjoyable. His enthusiasm and welcoming way made 12 who were on the tour coalesce as a fun band of travelers. We all enjoyed our guided trip to the Bonneville Salt flats and all the included activities to the fullest. Restroom breaks were well spaced. The tour was quite a delightful engaging experience and has risen to the top of any small group tour I have ever been on. Thank you Dima!
Our group wanted to see the Bonneville Salt Flats. Dima was extremely knowledgeable about Utah and very attentive. He made sure we all had the best time. We enjoyed his tour so much we booked the Antelope Island for another day. That tour was equally enjoyable! Thanks Dima for the memorable experiences!
We had an incredible experience on the Bonneville Salt Flats tour, and our guide, Dima, made it unforgettable! From the moment we started, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone was comfortable. He came prepared with plenty of bottled water and granola bars, which was such a thoughtful touch in the desert heat. Dima also went above and beyond by taking amazing photos of us throughout the tour. He knew all the best spots and angles, and we ended up with beautiful memories we’ll treasure. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm made the entire experience exceptional. If you’re thinking about visiting the Bonneville Salt Flats, I highly recommend booking this tour and, if possible, requesting Dima. He truly made our trip special. Five stars!
Great experience. Be prepared for 7hrs but lots of stops along the way with bathroom breaks. Try the naan at the truck stop. The hike is short while steep.
This was amazing!!!! I saw so much, I have incredible pictures and memories. The guide was knowledgeable, helpful and funny!
I had such a great adventure trip with Dima at the Salt flats. He was very communicative about the itinerary and excited to share with us all the knowledge he had about Utah and the story of the Bonneville salt flats. This was great for me since I learned a lot. I definitely got more out of the trip than I had anticipated. Dima made sure that our tour was comfortable and exciting. He made plenty stops for us so we could enjoy the geography/topography and take photos. I enjoyed the mini hikes that brought us to some great landscape view. He also picked me up at my air bnb which he did not have to but it made my trip very comfortable. Dima is equally curious to learn about you so there is plenty of communication to be had during the 4-5 hour tour. I was traveling solo so I am very glad I did this trip. Would definitely recommend this for with Dima.
Everything was good. Driver was good. Four stars because he didn’t go to the last spot great salt lake as described in the itinerary.
Our tour guide Dima really cares about the people and their experience. He was knowledgeable and really thought thru the trip. We were informed that our tour would start later in the day, as Dima was trying to time it to sunset. I didn't know how much of a difference it was to be at the salt flat right at sunset! Dima not only made sure we were on the salt flat, he made sure that we also see it from a higher point of view, which is were some reviewers were mentioning the hike. I assure you that the hike was worth it! The view was spectacular and we even saw a mountain goat! We also got some amazing pictures because of Dima! He was an experienced photographer and knew how to pose us and get some incredible pictures! Although it was a very long tour, I believe we got way more than what we paid for, and we are so glad we decided to go with Dima instead of the other salt flat tours! He genuinely cares about the Salt Flat history and the people he gets to share this place with.
