I did a solo trip in Egypt, with a lovely Nile cruise booked with Luxor Private Tour. The Nile cruise consisted of a number of excursions and therefore the cruise itself. On days one and two Mohamed took me in one to Luxor, which was really great. We went to Karnak temple, to Luxor temple. On day two we went to the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut. Mohamed can tell so well, has beautiful stories, and laid the foundation for me for the whole trip. Without his stories and explanations, I wouldn't have understood the rest so well. He takes his time with you, wants to help you with everything, he was really good. He also helped me with some shopping. On the boat my room was a bit disappointing. I was sitting at the very bottom in the back and it smelled quite like diesel in the room itself. Which is not very crazy in itself, but good. That's what I told Ash and he immediately got me a new room on the 3rd floor. Really fantastic he arranged that. I enjoyed it on the cruise, all the people were nice there. That was great to experience. I so enjoyed all the views, swimming on the boat, eating and drinking. It was so good! I was still a bit afraid what the toilet would be like and the shower but also those were super, good water pressure. Lovely shower On day three I did two excursions, in the morning in Edfu and in the evening in Kom Ombo. Both tour guides were super nice and very sweet and helpful. They have told and shown a lot, but I must say that Mohammed laid the foundations for this too, so that I have better understood their stories. And it actually became one big story from Luxor all the way to Aswan. It was beautiful. When we arrived in Aswan on day five I spent another morning there with guide Ahmed, who took me to the High dam to the unfinished obelisk and to Philae temple, which was also really great. The boat there was lovely, beautiful island with an impressive temple. Ahmed also helped me buy a train ticket for the next day. Yes, I enjoyed this trip, this was fantastic to do even on my own. Ash and also Mohamed kept asking nicely every time how are you, where are you, do you need help, did you gain weight well? Well, that’s really nice that you know someone is thinking about you, especially when you’re traveling solo. This trip is an absolute must.
It was a very nice cruise experience, the guide helped us a lot and the company was always attentive in case any inconvenience arose. He proposed alternative plans and personalized routes throughout the trip. Inside the cruise the cabins were fine, the staff were very attentive and respectful. I would repeat with the same company and guide without a doubt! 5stars
This is my first time in Egypt and personally I was afraid of what to find. Seif, our guide accompanied us and helped us at all times, as well as doing his job really well explaining everything, answering doubts and always advising us. The cruise very well: the cabin comfortable and clean, like the rest of the stays. Very polite and friendly staff and speaking Spanish.
One of the best Nile cruises Ever , professional staff with a tremendous hospitality ♥️♥️ , we highly recommend everyone to come and use it
Many Thanks Mrs. Doaa For these Lovely Words of Your happy to have you as our Guest Please call at anytime
We sailed on this cruise line from Luxor to Aswan and have enjoyed our Nile sailing very much. I must highlight the excellent service on board, the cleanliness of the ship, the friendliness of the Service Staff and above all the exquisite meals we tasted both at breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is a very good category boat that also has an outdoor pool on deck. Perhaps the point to improve is that we had to travel with many local families with many children (winter holidays) that were very noisy, messy and went to bed very late, not allowing to witness quietly the night artistic activities that took place, because there was no control by their parents or the management of the boat. Also, I take the opportunity to suggest to all the shipping lines operating on the Nile, the Mood concern, the amount of oil and garbage in the river is impressive and at the same time a shame, I call to protect the river with sanctions for those who throw away the garbage, as well as the spillage of fuel by the boats!!!
Thanks for your nice review looking forward to seeing you again In Egypt
Lovely cruise, their daily plans are great! Room is very clean, they tidy up the room twice a day, their staff are friendly, their food is very good, good value, worth traveling with them!

in simple review, "Can't fault these guys", they not only how to do their job perfectly, but also love what they are doing. the amount of care and respect are really hard to captive in words. they looked after us even when we booked a private trip, they made an effort to ring us to make sure that we arrived safely and we don't need any extra assistance. they are really best of the best
Your most welcome. All Luxorprivatetour Team Are Happy That You Had a great experience With Us Hope To see You agine In Egypt
We stayed on a 4-night Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan, The ship is very well maintained, with super friendly staff who provide excellent Service. All organized by a travel agency from Cairo who have planned a whole round trip for us. (Mina Samir tour guide; Cairo). Boarding was first class, starting from the breakfast buffet, via rich lunch and multi-course dinner (or barbecue on deck). Cabins also modern and the whole ship is in good shape- compared to the other "competitors" we had looked at zT the year before. Great value for money; ideal also for children...very child-friendly team. Ideal is to stay in Aswan for at least one more day after arrival (Sofitel Hotel) to explore the entire countryside and surroundings... and visit Abu Simbel Temple there as well.
thanks a lot for your kind review hope to see you soon in Egypt
We booked a 4 night cruise Luxor-Aswan fairly last minute. We wanted a more luxury experience but since we were booking only a month out for Easter week with a semi-inflexible schedule, we had to make do. The Oberoi cruises and Sanctuary cruises were all sold out and I was starting to panic because we needed something but I didn't want it to just be the leftovers. I felt a little out of my depth booking a luxury dahabiya (but would probably book that if (when) I ever came back). After much research, I found the Farah. The pictures online looked solid, and I could book and pay directly online, and could see the boat availability. The dates were perfect. I was sold. Overall, we had an amazing time. It's not perfect, but I wasn't really expecting Oberoi quality for the price- I knew what I was getting into. Still, I think it's one of the best mid-high tier boats sailing right now. The service was great and attentive. Everyone was very sweet. The deck was a highlight. We saw many a boat pass and I didn't see one that looked like they had a better deck than ours. Lovely cushioned teak furniture in cabanas lined the deck with nice greenery. There was a nice pool and cushioned lounge chairs with beautiful golden lighting. Many boats I saw pass did not have any cushions on their chairs and looked rickety. The deck was an amazing place to hang out. The rooms were well appointed, if a little small (but that's to be expected on a boat like that). We had a sliding door that opened to the river, which was a nice bonus. Rooms were clean, and the maid service was exceptional, with great touches added every day. Two bottles of water are provided every day. Our guide was fabulous. We didn't really know what to expect and thought that we may be with a group of other English speakers, but it turns out that our guide was just for us. He was incredible and so so sweet. He was super knowledgeable but also let us have our alone time at every stop so that we could see stuff at our own pace after getting the gist of the history. It seems like guides on these boats are sort of picked randomly, and they don't work for the boat, but are merely matched with one, so one may be unlucky with their guide. The itinerary was also great. Although chalk full of earlier mornings (getting up around 6) the days were not too strenuous and perfectly paced. There was a great balance of sightseeing and lounging. Some itineraries have a lot of stuff packed in, but this one was pretty good. We also had an issue with our flight being changed from 1pm to 6pm, and we didn't know what to do during the day. They arranged a tour for us to Abu Simbel, which was great, complete with a packed breakfast and they even let us come back and eat lunch on the boat. We had a guide for that, but unfortunately he wasn't that great. Nice, however only said 3 things about the site and was extremely hard to understand. After coming all that way, we were hoping for a bit more. The food was solid. Nothing gourmet, but there was nothing to seriously complain about either. The best night was the BBQ night up on the deck. The Egyptian fare is more "mainstream" then anything, and we wished for more traditional food. The overall breakfast and bar area were more of a contemporary vibe, which isn't my first choice, but it was fine. We didn't spend too much time there and mainly just hung out on the top deck. Entertainment was a bit touristy and cheesy, but I think that's part of all of the boats' itineraries. Overall we were very happy with our experience for such a last minute, risky booking. It sure seemed like we were on one of the newer, nicer boats. I think the Farah Nile Cruise is a great choice.
many thanks and you are welcome any time
