It is the best-well-known lighthouse in the area, the westernmost of the Iberian Peninsula, and the “End of the World” lighthouse. There is also the famous 0 km stone of the Camino a Finisterre and of course beside the Lighthouse. A place full of modern and ancient traditions, in addition to magical and natural wonders that will make your mind and body travel far away.
This is the port of Finisterre where a boat trip is waiting for us! The boat ride is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and it includes drinks (vermouth, wine, water, soft drinks) and typical local food such as homemade Galician Empanadas of different flavors. This will be a unique experience full of surprises! You will be able to enjoy the wonderful landscape from another perspective (the Finisterre lighthouse, seen from the sea) and with a good company, not only ours, but also that of the typical local products, included in the excursion. The Cabo Vilan lighthouse marks one of the most dangerous stretches of the Costa da Morte, but also one of the most beautiful. It is declared of national interest. The visit also includes an entrance to the museum, but always when it is open to the public.

It was a good experience. Kind of weird they didn’t allow coffee on the bus. I thought the stops were well curated and there was enough time to see everything. I liked that we didn’t spend too long at each stop.

I expected a little more, the day before we went on another better excursion, and logically one expects the same. The coach was smaller, the boat smaller, the food counted drops and little, quite the opposite of the excursion of the Rias Baixas with visit to various sites and mussels (up to three trays) drinks (those you order and more) and set a very high bar. The places visited were medium well, but I repeat as the one of the Rias Baixas no.
