Your journey begins with a private transfer service. Pick-up service for the start of the tour is available at Catania, Taormina, Messina, nearby areas and directly at the port embarkation piers. A typical local estate, where you can rediscover the authentic flavors of the territory through a tasting of organic excellence at zero kilometer: from artisan honey to extra virgin olive oil, up to olives from local cultivars and indigenous wines of the island.
Climb by car through the lava landscapes of Mount Etna to Rifugio Sapienza (about 2,000 m). A visit to the Silvestri Craters and a lava flow cave is planned, with time available to admire the view. Short optional walks are possible.
At Rifugio Sapienza there is a break with tasting of typical local chocolate. The refuge, located at about 2,000 meters above sea level, is one of the main access points to the summit area of Etna. During the stop you will be able to walk on the volcanic soil, touch the lava rocks and enjoy wide panoramic views, which allow you to appreciate the unique landscape and the extension of the surrounding territory.
Your tasting will take place at Cantine Gambino or Cantine Murgo, historical pillars of Etna winemaking and icons of excellence, ranked among the top 5 of the more than 400 wineries on Etna. Our day on Mount Etna was an unforgettable experience and one of the best parts of our trip to Sicily. Walking around the Silvestri Craters and taking in the incredible volcanic scenery was something truly unique. We also loved stopping at a local honey farm, where we sampled delicious honey and other traditional Sicilian products while learning more about the area’s history and traditions. The winery visit was the highlight of the tour. The setting among the Etna vineyards was stunning, and the wine tasting paired with a fantastic lunch made for a truly memorable experience. Every dish complemented the wines perfectly, and the hospitality was exceptional. Everything was well organized, with just the right amount of time at each stop. It was a relaxing day filled with amazing scenery, great food, excellent wines, and authentic Sicilian hospitality. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sicily.
This is such a wonderful tour! Our guide, Salvo, was excellent - so friendly, accommodating, funny, and simply a delight. He shared interesting pieces of history with us, played photographer, and gave us tips and recommendations for the region. We did a few other tours during this trip but this was by far our favorite!!

We had an absolutely unforgettable experience. Our driver and companion Salvo was amazing, elegant, friendly, and always attentive, he made the whole day even more special. We had so much fun throughout the experience, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and great energy. Walking on the lava of Mount Etna was truly unique and something we will never forget. The wine tasting at a beautiful winery was another highlight, with delicious food perfectly paired with local wines. We also visited a traditional farm producing over 20 types of honey a truly authentic and fascinating place that gave us a deeper insight into Sicilian traditions. We were a private group of 8 (myself and 7 friends) and we can honestly say this was one of the best experiences of our entire trip to Sicily. Highly recommended!
Great experience with Salvo. Took us to several stops to experience local honey, olive oils and wines in addition to Mt. Etna visit. Gambino winery was wonderful. Delicious wines and food, and great service. Salvo was great about communicating with us in advance and arrived early for pick up. Patient and let us take our time at stops.

After this unforgettable walk, we arrived at the beautiful winery of the actor’s restaurant on Etna, a place full of charm, elegance, and authentic Sicilian character. The wine tasting was simply outstanding: every glass reflected the unique volcanic territory with rich aromas and exceptional flavors. The wines were perfectly paired with traditional Sicilian dishes made with fresh local ingredients and authentic recipes. Every tasting felt like discovering the true soul of Sicily. The atmosphere inside the winery, together with the warmth and professionalism of the staff, made the entire experience even more memorable. A perfect combination of nature, wine, tradition, and Sicilian hospitality. Truly unforgettable.
There was no “lunch in the cellar”, lunch was in their restaurant alongside birthday parties, baptism celebrations, all very nice, but the restaurant and staff were very busy. They quickly ran through the script for wines we were tasting then darted off, no tour of the premises or any discussion of their process.

If you think Mount Etna is just a volcano, you haven't experienced it with Sicilia Soul Experience yet. Walking on the lava terrain feels primal, as if you’ve been teleported to another planet. The lunar landscapes, with their sharp contrasts between the deep black rock and the vast blue sky, are truly breathtaking. But the journey doesn't end with the views; it continues with the palate. The stop at the winery was sublime. It wasn’t just a simple tasting, but a sensory journey through the finest Etna wines. Sipping a glass surrounded by vineyards born from volcanic ash is a luxury that every lover of beauty (and fine wine) must experience. Impeccable organization for what I can only describe as a "magnetic" experience. Absolutely unmissable.
