Etna: Cable Car & Hiking Tour to Summit
Description
Hike the Etna Volcano to get to the summit craters of Mount Etna at about 3000 meters! You will be hiking in full safety with a certified alpine and volcano guide, with whom you will marvel at the beauty and wonder of the highest active volcano in Europe, at 3.000 meters above the sea level. Departing from Sapienza Refuge, in Nicolosi, the Cable Car will take you up to 2.500 meters and you will proceed with an amazing trekking. The amount of Hiking involved is more or less 5 hours. The tour can be cancelled in case of adverse weather conditions. The itinerary up to 3000 m can be slightly modified depending on the volcanic activities, for security reasons.

Recommended, Roberto is a very cheerful and friendly guy. He provided us with a lot of explanations during the ascent of Mount Etna and took us to two beautiful photo stops. An experience to repeat.
Great experience , shuttle from Catania with davide who made us feel at home and gave us a lot of useful information to better enjoy the experience. Experienced and professional guide, generally professional service but very friendly. Be careful better to dress in layers at altitude can be very cold

What an experience, what an adventure! We don’t even have the words... on the day of the excursion, once we arrived at the foot of Mount Etna, the red alert eruption was triggered. Our guides were very serious: they offered to try the excursion the next day or get a refund. We tried again the next day and what surprises! Blue skies, sunshine and most importantly... the encounter with a lava flow. We had a unique chance! Etna also did its show: smoke, rumbling, rock throwing... The excursion lasts about 6 hours, the landscapes are lunar. Thanks to Edoardo and Antonio for their explanations. We have always felt safe. Thanks also to Peppe who ensured our transfer by car on both days: more than a driver, he was our “Sicilian friend” with his good humor and humor. These are memorable memories that we will cherish for a long time. Until maybe back to the snow season!☺️😉 thank you again!

Amazing experience, I really enjoyed it! I was on an excursion at 1st November. Our guide was friendly, supportive and informative and our driver Bruna was amazing! She not only picked up in time but also drove through the small villages so I could enjoyed the view. Very recommended!
Wonderful experience! Nice view and lots of interesting facts about the volcanic activity from the guide. The bus ride with Bruna also worked flawlessly. Super nice and friendly. Anytime again.
The pickup from the hotel went smooth, Peppe was an amazing driver and told us a lot of small info on the drive to Etna. We had Massimo as our tour guide and he was awesome. The views were fantastic, it was an experience that you could never explain in words or pictures. You need to experience it yourself. It was a 10 out of 10 and worth every penny ❤️

Already the pickup by our driver Bruna was first class. She took us with her how she lives and loves Catania and told us a lot here warmly and openly and answered questions. She stands out with her lively and lovely manner. The tour up Etna was also very informative and educational, our guide was super funny and nice. You felt completely in good hands. Den Etna and its surroundings are truly beautiful and if, like us, you have never seen (and climbed) a volcano before, an experience that will stay in your memory forever. THE BEST excursion ever. The driver from Catania to Etna is kind, communicative, nice.A group leader full of understanding, knowledge and experience. If I could, I would go with the same company again. I suggest everyone to go on the Etna adventure, because they will certainly not go wrong. I am very satisfied.
