This was such a cool experience! Luis and Manuel were great. It was super cool walking through the rainforest and learning a little about it on the way to the watering hole. This is where you could hang out and watch other groups jump off the rocks or rope swing, or go up a little further to where the natural waterslide is. SUCH A COOL THING! The water was very refreshing, too. Once everyone had their turn with that, we made our way back down to jump off the rocks. There were three levels, and the guides are super cool and encouraging. They take pictures along the way and videos so you don’t have to. Everyone hangs out at the watering hole for a short while before heading back. Gives everyone a chance to do what they want again, and try the rope swing. All of this was worth it for me, and was an unforgettable experience. They do offer life jackets for those who want it. I would recommend this for everybody who is in decent enough physical shape to do so!! (With the stairs and rocks, it is harder on the knees) A couple people in our group expressed being glad they did not bring their mother because they didn’t think she would be able to do the hike with ease.
It was honestly so much fun! The tour guides were super friendly and made it fun the entire time we were out there. Such a super easy hike!
Tour guides were amazing made sure everyone was safe. Would definitely do this again.
Mike was a great tour guide. He showed us some of the native plants to Puerto Rico. It was very fun and if you go in the morning I didn’t think the wait to get on the attraction were to long got some free time and cliff jumped a bunch. And I didn’t bring my phone but the took a lot of pics for us
Great experience, great water activities, great tour guides! Make sure you bring good water shoes or sneakers.
My only partly negative comment would be how crowded the place was. If there weren’t as many different tours happening at the same time this would have been a 10/10. We went at 8:30 am. This negative comment has no reflection on the guides or company!! Our guides were amazing & so helpful, caring and friendly. The water slide, cliff jump & rope swing were so fun & the location was beautiful as well as the drive there.
We had a great time with Michael and Allan leading the way. Everyone had a great time and a good leg workout!
My family (mom, dad, 2 young adults and 10 year old) all had an amazing time! Our tour guide, Mike, was very funny and we all felt safe with him leading the way. You definitely need at least a moderate level of fitness to complete this tour - you are traversing over vines, boulders, through a river, etc. We wore water shoes with thick soles and they worked fine, but old sneakers would work well also. It’s very slippery - you will not do well in crocs or flip flops. The water slides, rope swing and cliff jumping had everybody smiling. They take pictures and videos of you during the tour as well. Great family memory!
it was a really good experience definitely coming back
I’m so glad I decided to adventure El Yunque with a tour guide. Specifically with Carlitos. He was extremely knowledgeable about the rainforest from the treading the rocks to the history of its plants and greenery. He had amazing energy, character, providing the best experience!! He made sure to take pictures and videos at every attraction point and sent them at no extra charge!! No price haggling. Just genuine fun at an affordable price!! A DEFINITE recommendation to anyone wanting to visit!! Important tips : The cliff jumps, slides , rope plunge are all do-able, even if you have a slight fear of heights. They provide life jackets if need be. It’s a great way to get your feet wet. Literally. There’s no chance of drowning or injuring yourself cause Carlitos is there as well as other groups as long as you follow instructions and don’t try to be Aquaman.
