Awe inspiring architecture atop of the city of Cairo. A majestic medieval citadel partly constructed by the defender of Islam during the era of the Crusades, Salah Al Din. The mosques on the grounds are astonishing! The keepers of the mosques were so polite and facilitated entry at any available times. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to see the Museum of Egyptian military here. This was also included in entry fee and was absolutely amazing.
