Wonderful trip

Our tour guides Jimmy and Ahmed made our trip memorial. Giza was fabulous and Jimmy explained the tombs origins in detail ( speaks English fluently). I would do it again in a minute if I were guaranteed that they would be our guides. Ahmed’s wife has a cooking show and I’d love to get her Facebook info (I tried to buy a cake from her but alas time was too short). Also make sure u get the liver sandwich in Alexandria. Unbelievably good. Altogether it was a wonderful trip

Egypt Short Break - 5 Days (Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor)

Youssa was a wonderful tour guide and we had an absolutely incredible time. The company listened to our traveling desires and graciously incorporated an itinerary that met our interests. Luxor and Alexandria were wonderful, especially watching the sunrise over the Nile via a hot air balloon ride. Riding camels near the pyramids was also magnificent. I would recommend this tour company. It was a memorable vacation that we will cherish for a lifetime.

5 Days to Cairo, Luxor, and Alexandria

Egypt Tours Club did a really nice job of setting up a tour for my group somewhat last minute after our first tour was canceled. We were a bit underprepared by not being told our hotel address until arriving at the hotel and that no one would be able to help us purchase visas. I cannot express how fantastic Youssa and Hussam were. My group felt completely safe and comfortable with them and their abilities. Our trip to Luxor was a bit of a logistical nightmare and we were left to sit in a cafe for 4 hours before sitting in the airport for 3 more. We also felt the cultural difference more in Luxor than in the other cities. I will say the part that I disliked the most was being taken to "museums/shops" that were really tourist traps to get us to buy. We truly felt pressured to buy after watching a 5 minute presentation on what the "museum" offered. It was not cool. The provided meals were actually very good and the restaurants in Luxor and Alexandria have awesome views of waterfronts. We did not do any of the extra trips like a boat ride on the Nile since we felt like it would take too long in the heat. We preferred air conditioning. The traffic in Egypt is pretty congested and there is a lot of pollution in which case you may want to bring extra allergy medication. Overall, we had a really nice time exploring the ancient histories of Egypt, and truly felt like this once in a lifetime opportunity was taken seriously by Egypt Tours Club.

Great tour with an amazing guide

Did the 5 day Cairo/Luxor/Alexandria tour as a solo traveler with Mohamed. I can go on about the tour itself, but the highlight of my trip to Egypt was my guide Mohamed. From the first meeting with him at the airport, I could tell he was passionate about his job by his enthusiasm. His extensive knowledge and passion from studying archaeology set the tone for the entire trip. The enthusiasm never faltered as we toured the Giza pyramids, Egyptian museum, and Islamic Cairo. During long car rides (such as to Alexandria, or just stuck in Cairo's traffic), Mohamed and I connected effortlessly, to the point where I felt like I was traveling with an old friend. In addition, I was most impressed by his ability to stay calm and adapt in stressful situations such as Cairo traffic, lack of parking availability, and unexpected closures due to holidays. Overall, this was an amazing trip to see the pyramids, valley of the Kings, and tombs that you've seen in travel books and tourism blogs. What you won't find in these books and blogs, however, is Mohamed, who is able to give you that human connection with Egypt.
