Itinerary
We pause for photos at the beautiful South Queensferry Bridges
Dewar's world-renowned crafted Highland Single Malt Aberfeldy whisky has been produced at Aberfeldy Distillery since 1898. We spend 2 hours here for their Whisky tour; comprising of a full guided tour of the distillery, warehouse and interactive heritage exhibition, and a tasting of Aberfeldy's 12 year old single malt whisky. Admission for the distillery is not included.
We stop at the village of Aberfeldy for lunch. Spend time here exploring its streets, enjoy the scenery with plenty of time to grab a bite to eat before our whisky tour continues to Glenturret Distillery.
Located on the Turret River, just outside of Crieff, Glenturret Distillery is Scotland's oldest working distillery and still hand crafts its whisky using the last remaining hand operated mash tun in Scotland. Here, we enjoy a whisky tasting. Admission for the distillery is not included.

What a wonderful day of whiskey, scenic views, and an amazing narrative by our guide Jim. Jim’s knowledge of Scottish history and his enthusiasm just added to the charm of driving up to Aberfeldy and witnessing the amazing Scottish countryside. The distilleries chosen were a combination of historical and technical significance for those that enjoy a dram! I would highly recommend taking this tour and seeking Jim as your guide

Our tour bus driver Graham kept us amused with his commentary about the activity, sightseeing and Scotland. The two distilleries that we visited were nice
Hi there, thank you for your review. We are very happy to hear that you had a fantastic time on our whisky tour with our driver-guide Graham. It’s great to hear that you appreciated having a wee dram at the distilleries we visited! Hopefully we can welcome you back on another tour with us very soon! Many thanks again, Luisa
Highly recommend this tour! It was so nice to get out of crowded Edinburgh and see the beautiful Scottish Highlands. The distillery tours were incredible and our tour guide Lorna was wonderful. Learned so much about Scottish culture and mythology while chauffeuring to each destination. Do yourself a favor and book this trip now!
Good stops. Excellent scotch at both places. Very diverse types. Excellent driver with much insight about the area.
The whiskey tour was quite okay but expensive. The 70£ price covered only the tour and if you actually wanted to taste the whiskeys you had to pay extra. For the two distilleries the price was 42£ more for 5 glasses of whiskey. However, the tasting session was super basic and felt rushed. There was no enough time or guidance. Overall okay but quite an expensive taxi tour around the countryside.
Our tour guide was Marty. He was extremely knowledgeable and funny. An excellent guide for our day who provided lots of insight and information on the history of Edinburgh and Scotland during our trip. We would highly recommended this tour to any whisky enthusiasts as both distilleries were excellent choices to visit.
Great way to experience highland whiskey without the hassle of driving. Our driver Graham was terrific.
