All the catering tricks. Forget smoked salmon or avacardo ORIZZONTI Restaurant 3/10 nice views Starter 1 x Smoked egg €28.00 !!! You could have a Gordon Ramsey Waguy Burger, aged cheese, smoked bacon, mayo and fries for £26 in the best roof top restaurant in London. Or a overpriced egg in Milan ! The reat of the menu overpriced and minute portions. No meats Steak/ Veal/Lamb - Fish very limited. No idea why people think its 5 star. Compare this with The OXO Tower. And amazing views of London. Superb menue and better on all levels. Need to try a lot harder ORIZZONTI Restaurant! Wine list 8/10 Service 9/10 Value for money 3/10
The guide never showed, I texted and called - nothing. I waited for 15 minutes and left. What a disappointment.
The tour was very short - 20 min start to finish. Only did the church. Then, I could barely hear the guide. When I made a comment that I couldn’t hear, he pointed at the mic and said the church requires guides to use it. Fine, but then speak into the mic. Lastly, the guide had very limited knowledge - when the other participants asked follow up questions, he gave one word answers and left it. Very disappointed. Should have just paid to go directly into the church and then get an audio guide. Would not recommend this tour.
Thank you, we will improve our service
I’m giving this tour 2 stars purely for the beauty of the Duomo itself and the brief explanation we received Our ticket listed two different meeting points — the souvenir shop and the museum — which are about a ten-minute walk apart. In the pouring rain, we went back and forth trying to figure out where to go. The guides had no signs, so even after arriving ten minutes early, we kept searching and eventually found someone who told us we had already missed the tour. We were even marked as a no-show despite being there on time, then the guide recanted when I showed them the ticket instructions having two meeting points. When we called the number on the ticket, no one picked up. We were finally told to visit the museum first and join the next tour instead. That “replacement” tour lasted only about 24 minutes, even though the original was advertised as 45 minutes. Overall, the experience was highly disorganised and the tour itself was half the duration promised. This is coming from someone who has taken guided tours in about fifty countries.
Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear about the misunderstanding, and we would like to clarify a few important points for future visitors. First, the souvenir shop is not a 10-minute walk from the Museo del Novecento (900 Museum) in Piazza del Duomo. In reality, the distance between the two locations is less than 50 meters, just steps away. Regarding the missed tour, our team did offer the possibility to join another tour. However, because all guided tours require a valid ticket, an additional ticket cost was necessary in order to participate in a new time slot. Lastly, please note that on Sundays, a religious Mass is held inside the Duomo. For this reason, large portions of the cathedral are closed to the public until the service is finished, which can affect access times. We hope this helps clarify the situation, and we would be happy to welcome you again for a complete and enjoyable experience.
Loved the tour, the guide delivered a great presentation with a twist of humour and the Italian vibe:) Lifetime experience totally worth the money! Breathtaking views from the rooftop and especially the walk through the spires, loved it!
Thank you!
We were able to get in last minute when another tour canceled out on us. It was a great experience. They were very accommodating.
Thank you 😊
Tour was informative but started late, beautiful building. Dosent include opportunity to go on the roof
Thank you 😊
The guided tour of the Duomo di Milano was one of the most enriching experiences of my trip. Our tour guide, Fadia was incredibly knowledgeable. She brought the Cathedral’s history and architecture to life with stories I’d never have discovered on my own. The Gothic details, the stained glass, the sheer scale of the building were breathtaking, as well as the religious symbolism were both insightful and engaging. I appreciated her willingness to answer our questions. The tour was a fantastic way to experience Milan’s most Iconic landmark. Marius, the tour operator was very professional and easily accessible. Highly recommended!
Very knowledgeable guide and friendly. Excellent explanation of significance and history. Meeting point difficult to find.
You go to the museum without a guide, and the Duomo with a guide. Very informative and knowledgeable and entertaining guide.
