Finbarr and Frank were great and a lot of fun! Very knowledgeable and talented actors who guided us through several pubs/areas.
Thank you Rosa. We really appreciate your kind words. COLM
Took my 20 something kids who have barely read a book and they absolutely loved it. It’s pacy, fun, immersive, absorbing and you don’t need any knowledge of Irish literature. The guys really bring it all to life. Best thing in Dublin!
Thank you! I bet they've read loads of books behind your back. That's the way they are. Just fantastic. I have two at home. COLM
What a lovely night! The guides were perfect--funny, smart, entertaining, friendly. We walked from pub to pub--with two other stops along the way, Trinity College and Molly Malone statue. In each location, a bit. of history, literary connections, songs. The pubs were fun. I'd do it again!
Thanks Jmg. Delighted you enjoyed it all Colm & John
Outstanding! The two guides were hilarious, but when necessary very serious about managing the safety of the group and keeping everything moving along in an orderly fashion. some fabulous people during the tour, a very friendly atmosphere. This is Marion Street upper
Thanks Gordon. Love the title of your review. Its a blend of the three Ps - Pub. Poet. Pint. Enjoy the rest of your holiday Colm
Terrible! I waited for a half hour at the meeting point and no one showed up. This is the worst organized mess that I have experienced.
Dear reader. The customer was informed by voucher to present UPSTAIRS in the Duke at 7.15pm where the actors and I greet the audience. 34 people followed those directions to our room in the Duke. I asked GeraldPeter three times in writing afterwards, if the directions were on his booking voucher. He declined to answer. Viator confirms that the meeting point directions WERE on his voucher. There are also two signs displayed at the pub that we meet Upstairs in the pub. Furthermore, he could have simply asked any member of staff where the tour starts. He has been refunded. I also apologised to him in writing for missing out. And I said: 'I hate that to happen to someone travelling solo.' 800,000+ customers in 38 years have made their way to us. That's not the worst organised mess that he suggests Sincerely COLM P.S I phoned the customer at 19.54 to let him know that the actors were still at the Duke and were about to move off to Trinity just after 8. He did not answer his phone. So I texted him that information. CQ
Really enjoyed our literary walking tour in downtown Dublin last night original theatrical experience, educational fund tons of great people highly recommend
Thanks Alan. It's the people who make it for us. Otherwise we would have stopped long ago. Colm
This was an amazing experience! The guys were fabulous, so nice but also amazing actors. Very funny and engaging tour. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone! Also learned a lot! Loved it!
Thanks for joining us..! COLM
My college graduate son and I booked this during our stay in Dublin. And we had a ball. As a former English major, I loved the playwright history and performances. And our tour guides were so friendly. Frank gave us a recommendation for a pub with live music afterwards, and it was the perfect end to our night. Also, they run a quiz with the winner getting a free shirt. We were excited to win!
Thanks Shani for joining us COLM
Book directly through the tour to give the guides a larger cut. …………………………………………………………………………………………..
