Itinerary
You will be picked up from your hotel or selected location by your tour guide. Then, drive to the Dubai desert about 45 minutes you will arrive at the destination. Relax in the restrooms there, making use of bathroom facilities... you may opt for a short Quad Bike ride as the 4x4 vehicles get ready for off-road desert drive.
After a short break, Time for adventures... our activities start with desert dune bashing... after 40-45 minutes of red dunes ride, go sand surfing (sandboarding) down the dunes. We will photograph these nice moments for you. Next, stop at the Red Dunes desert and enjoy a camel ride in the open desert. Later, relax in air-conditioned comfort as you enjoy soft drinks, water, Arabic tea or coffee with dates before getting dropped back at your hotel in Dubai.
The participants of the 7-hour tour proceeded to the Al Khayma camp. Welcomed with rose water, Arabic coffee, local sweets & dates. The camp's resident camels also greeted them, and they were given the option to ride them across the dunes. The camp offers various activities such as camel feeding, falconry, and henna painting. There is also a shisha station & entertainment shows to enjoy. A delicious BBQ dinner is served at the camp. When the tour ends, the participants will be dropped off at their hotel or building.

Complimentary pick-up is available from Dubai, Sharjah & Ajman hotels, apartments, and Cruise terminals in Dubai ( Port Rashid ) & Dubai Harbour. Dubai Airport is available from the Holiday Inn Airport hotel. Pickup from Bab Al Shams, Al Maha resort, and Jebel Ali is available for an additional fee.

Important Information
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- It is highly recommended that you eat 2-3 hours before the safari trip to avoid sickness during the dune bashing.
- We highly recommend having international travel insurance, as self-driving activities carry inherent risks that may lead to serious injury. Coverage for such incidents is typically provided only through your personal insurance.
- The quad biking segment is solely the participant's responsibility. Any damage, injuries sustained or items lost during the quad tour are not covered by insurance.
- All desert safari drivers are well trained and licensed for safari drives. The 4WD vehicles are fully insured and well equipped with all necessary safety features, such as roll bars, seat belts, government trackers, GPS, GMS, and a First Aid box
- OceanAir Travels shall not be responsible for any kind of loss, accident, sickness or injury.
- Please wear sports shoes for safe sand boarding.
- Casual, loose fitting clothing is recommended in the summer, along with a jacket in the winter
- Please note that if your skin is sensitive to henna, it is advised not to do it.
- Entertainment activities:- As per UAE law during the holy month of Ramadan and other religious holidays you can watch Tanoura and Fire shows only in our desert camps (Al Khayma) as there will be some restrictions for Ladies Khaliji Dance.
- The 11:30 AM Timing slot comes with a Lunch buffet, and it doesn't include the Fire show since it's during the day timing
- Pickup will be within 45min prior to your selected departure time. Please be ready at the hotel lobby on time.
- Pick-up timing is subject to change due to the emerging summer heat: 1 hour earlier in the morning and 1 hour later in the afternoon. A notification shall be sent in advance in the case of any change.
- Camel Ride : Children below 12 years of age cannot ride alone and must be accompanied by an adult.
- Quad Bike: Children below 16 years cannot ride on their own and must be accompanied.
- By participating, you acknowledge and accept that some activities involve inherent risks and unforeseen incidents, and adequate travel and health insurance is strongly recommended for your safety and financial protection. Recommended Age for Self-Driving Activities: Sandboarding: 12-50 years, Quad Biking: 16–50 years. Animal-related activities (company not responsible for uncontrollable natural behaviour of animals): Camel Ride (Recommended age: 12–50 years) Falcon, Horse Riding.
- Helmets & safety gear are highly recommended where applicable, and participation is entirely at your own risk, the company will not be responsible for any accidents, damage, loss, or death from these activities.
- By UAE law, pregnant ladies, anyone with back or neck pain, heart problems or other serious medical complaints and infants (under 3 years old) are not allowed during the dune bashing activity by car. (If this conditions are applicable to you, please contact our Consultant to customize your tour)

Our guide Nadeem was very friendly, professional, and helpful. The pick-up was well organized, and the whole trip went smoothly. It was an extremely fun activity! I went solo and got lucky that I was put in with an amazing group also. Our tour guide, Sikander was the best! There’s also some snacks and refreshments in the area that’s being offered to us. There were only a few people when we went so we made the most out of it. Our tour guide also took great pictures, instagram worthy! I would definitely recommend to my friends or even go back and be with friends/family! Just make sure you prepare sunglasses, scarf and wear crocs! Haha

We took this tour with Usman back in September 2025 and I forgot to write a review. But the trip was so much fun I still think about the great time we had. Usman took care of every detail perfectly and even when above and beyond to take social care of my friend who was not feeling well. He acted as tour guide, photographer, director, caretaker and fun maker. Best memory of our whole trip to Dubai! Just do it - it’s fun!!
Nadeem was our driver and tour guide for an absolutely unforgettable full-day Dubai desert adventure, and he was exceptional from start to finish! Not only did he safely guide us through an exciting day of ATV rides in the desert, camel rides, and an amazing BBQ dinner with cultural entertainment, but he also shared so much valuable information about Dubai throughout the journey.
