I booked the tour a day before and got picked up by the hotel. after that we went to the dessert and rehan was a good tour guide our group had a lot of fun with him and he was a good driver
I had the most epic time on the desert safari tour with RAH Tours! My tour guide Amjid Ali was incredible and made me laugh the entire time!! He made the experience so much fun while riding through the dunes. He went out of his way to make the experience absolutely perfect! I only had 24 hours in Dubai and because of this tour I absolutely have to go back!! Safety is at the forefront of my travels as a solo female traveler and I have never felt safer in any country because of my tour with Amjid and RAH Tours. I have no words to describe their hospitality, communication and promptness with the tour. Not to mention the amazing photos he took to remember my time!! 10/10 would recommend this company and especially Amjid when you visit the UAE!!
The dune bashing and sand boarding were great. The food was mediocre and they push you into taking the vip seating (extra cost) to get better access to the food. The coffee and drinks at the camp were honestly awful. The shows were pretty decent but nothing to write home about. If you want pictures with a falcon i would recommend finding someone with a bird whilst on the dunes.
The best part was our driver Mr Maqsood. Totaly crazy and safe :) Thank you for the experience. The dinner could be better, but was a nice experience, in the Vip area.
Overall we had a great time. I would suggest everyone in your party book as a group. 1 of my people were unable to go and no refund was offered. I discussed this prior to our arrival that there were 4 in my party and someone booked alone I was told too explain to the driver once he arrived the situation and there should be no problem.. I spoke to this arrogant man over the phone he was not trying to let me talk not sure what his culture is but being a black American woman you will listen to what I have to say, he listen with no resolve and ended up hanging up on me.
Driver sent me sms he will arrive 14:45 so I and family were ready 14:30. Finally he has delay so arriving 15:05. Then annonce is that he has to pick another client. So we are riding 15 min then waiting for 1 hour in the car in a parking under the sun. Kids where exasperated. Finally we go. He stops in a delabrated camp and almost force us to take a ride with ATV. We didn’t wanted. So he did not want to go. After almost 2 h waiting in a terrible heat doing nothing he finally go. The desert ride was nice but the foto pause was very short 10 minutes. The diner was ok also the show. On return we stop on gas station do fil the tank for tomorrow. So no respect for us and owner time. A lost of time in the car and for unnecessary stops. Chose another company that respect better their clients.
This was better than expected. You can rent 4 wheelers for an additional fee and they were worth it. Food was actually good, and they had a beer special.
Great experience fantastic, they adapted to me as I was leaving on the day of trip so I got a private tour. Made it simple as I also lost my card so they let me pay via PayPal 1hr before trip told me everything I needed to know great company and the host of camel Ali took all my great pictures gave me wifi on the journey . 11/10 great people will be back with friends next year
Best experience ever I had it’s a must do thing to do in Dubai, there was a lot more activity’s then what then say in there list
We were picked up by our excellent driver Zahid. He is the one on the left of my photograph. To say his skill on driving on the dunes was good, does him a disservice. He was even better in the dark, on our way out of camp. The whole trip was not fantastic, was not horrible, but feel you should know what you are getting into. From Dubai, it is quite a drive to the site for off roading in the desert. This stop is a bit of a tourist trap, not the best restrooms for starters, the locals pounce on you to buy, buy, buy...food, drink or a souvenir. But, they pounce on you at every turn. Once the tyres are set for the sand, you are straight on to the dunes. Fantastic driving gets you in the middle of nowhere, sand as far as the eye can see. Gorgeous... Then, back to get tyres blown up again & off to camp we go. Then they pounce again. Trip is advertised as soft drink/water is unlimited & included in the ticket price. Little tubs of water whenever you like, but soft drinks only from 6.60pm for some reason... Then, you are only allowed ONE!!! Plus, they take the lid off that one for you. Are they feart you take them all home?? Free camel ride is short, all the way down the queue they try to get you to buy a longer ride. This was not much longer. Also a horse to buy a ride. Free henna tattoo area. Food was okay, but getting it was a phaff getting it. Boom and you are at te back of a very big queue for dinner. Then they serve you the meat at the end. The shows were very good. Dropped back of at our hotel, after what was a good day by our ever helpful Zahid.
