Our Desert Safari with Afeef Getaway was one of the most enjoyable activities our family tried out while we were on our vacation to Dubai! The entire experience was amazing and full of wonderful and unforgettable moments from the very beginning to the very end. The adrenaline-pumping journey kicked off with the pickup from the hotel in a 4x4 vehicle in which it was so cozy and we took the ride to the desert. The local guide was polite, helpful, and made sure that everyone was in the right mood for the fun they were going to have which, of course, would also be in a safe environment. The dune bashing was so exciting! It is not for the weak of heart, however! We all experienced the thrills of a lifetime as we whirred past the sands of the spectacularly beautiful desert dunes. Upon our arrival at the campsite, we were given a full traditional Arabian experience with a warm reception and a variety of activities. The camel ride was a great family pastime, and we all explored the desert on the backs of the camels beyond the quiet beauty of the desert. The sandboarding was the other attraction loved by everyone—it was just perfect for adults and kids alike. The day concluded with a beautiful BBQ dinner under the stars and an extraordinary roof belly dance show and also a Tanoura dance. The menu was mouth-watering, offering us a combination of grilled meats, salads, as well as sweet treats, all in a relaxing and informal setting. The staff treated us as if we were part of their family, which was the key to our exceptional treatment. This is an activity that is a necessity for families. It combines adventure, culture, and relaxation perfectly and Afeef Getaway made sure that everything went well, which resulted in a day to remember for all of us. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who is visiting Dubai!
