Itinerary

120 min

start your full day tour visiting Old Cairo, known as Christian Coptic Cairo which is among the most important locations visited by the Holy Family where the spiritual impact of their presence is most felt still; though their stay was brief, for the Governor of what was then Fustat enraged by the tumbling down of idols at Jesus' approach sought to kill the Child. But they took shelter from his wrath in a cave above which, in later years, the Church of Abu Serga (St Sergious) was built. This, and the whole area of the Fort of Babylon, is a destination of pilgrimage not only for the Egyptians but for Christians from around the world. Amazing experience with Hema

My friend and I did our first tour in Egypt - a sunset camel ride by the pyramids, including drinking Bedouin tea - and we had an incredible experience. Hema was amazing and taught us so much, and we all immediately became close friends. Hema texted us throughout our two weeks in Egypt. When I came down with a fever, he voluntarily brought me medicine that helped me kick it and got me back on feet within 24 hours. We became such good friends that we booked a second tour with Hema later in the trip - to see the mosques and to visit the bazaar. Hema helped us negotiate good prices on special good with merchants, showed us amazing sites, and taught us both history and about Islam. We had a number of fantastic tour guides throughout Egypt, but hands down, Hema was the best - and it wasn’t close! Highly recommend him to anyone visiting Giza / Cairo and wanting to do a tour.
