Travel by bus from your hotel, we will take you to the wonderful magical village of Bacalar, starting the day with the arrival at the Blue cenote where not only besides refreshing a little, you will have an amazing breakfast with wonderful views.
Then we will go to a natural pool there you will have free time to discover this peaceful and wonderful place. On this place you will be able to swim, enjoy the swings or just stay at the hammocks in the lagoon.
If you are a fan of photography and ecotourism you will love the pontoon ride, you will find a variety of species of birds such as parrots, owls, bald hawks among some to mention, to know nature a little more you can become a pirate for a few minutes, as we will travel the famous route of pirates, you will know the scenarios of the battles like the fort of San Felipe and the stories of the buccaneers who sailed those waters more than 250 years ago and finally you will see the extraordinary cenotes that provide the stunning views of this magical town. The lagoon is the main attraction of the town. It is called of the seven colors because of the differences in the soils of its background, the difference of depths and the variation in the intensity of the rays of the sun; All this makes its waters reflect seven different shades of blue.
When you get off the boat you will go to the restaurant in order to enjoy the traditional ona of the traditional dishes of the region and then have a time for yourself and discover more about Bacalar in its center and park. It is a perfect setting for lovers of adventure and nature. Bacalar has a lot of history to tell; it was the scene of multiple clashes between Maya and Spaniards and later fell victim to English, French and Dutch pirates. Bacalar is simply a paradisiacal village that will fall in love with its small fishermen houses where you will find a beautiful green Blue Lagoon.

The trip was nice however felt more of a 'instagram tour' rather than to see the area. Loads of opportunities to take photos by signs, swings, hammocks and in the water. This was lovely but not exactly what the tour described so we were a little disappointed. Loads of swimming opportunities, you do get a small amount of free time to explore the area in Bacalar which has a fort and a few stands selling items and food (which were really nice and worth having). Mainly swimming spots though. Only issue we found that although the guide spoke English, he didn't come on the boats with us so we didn't understand any of the pirates element of the tour because it was all in Spanish. Some other guests were super helpful for us translating what we could however as the main guide knew we booked and English language trip and the locals spoke no English (which is absolutely fine) however felt he could have come along to help us a little more rather than waiting on the dock.
