Meet your local guide at Mitropoleos 6–8, just a short walk from Syntagma Square. After a warm welcome and brief introduction, your walking tour through the historic center of Athens begins.
Arrive at Syntagma Square, the vibrant heart of modern Athens. See the Greek Parliament and observe the famous Presidential Guards (Evzones) in their traditional uniforms, while learning about their role and symbolism.
Continue toward the Panathenaic Stadium, admiring this historic marble stadium from the outside while hearing stories about the first modern Olympic Games and Greece’s Olympic legacy.

I travel a fair bit. The Discover Athens Walking City Tour was the first walking tour I have done in all my travels and it was the best way to get a snapshot of the layout of central Athens and the history of the area.
