Our trip starts from Athens. On this amazing full day tour you will see the most beautiful sights and scenery. On our way I will give you a lot of information about history, mythology and culture. We will enjoy a visit to Delphi, novel of the world and the religious sites of Meteora. Also, we will pass by Thermopylae, where the 300 Spartans fought and the breathtaking Arachova. I can adjust the schedule, duration and activities to meet your needs. Please let me know of any special requests you have.

Itinerary
Our trip will start from Athens and then we will drive to Thermopylae, where we will visit Thermopylae's Innovative Centre of Historical Information and we will see the Statue of Leonidas.
Afterwards we will drive to the breathtaking Meteora, where we will visit a lot of monasteries, built on top of 1000 foot rocks, such as the Holy Monastery of Varlaam, Rousanou and the Holy Trinity. Then we will take a break for a coffee at Kalabaka. Driving through the beautiful stone villages of Arachova where we'll be able to stop so that you can take photos and buy souvenirs.
After a wonderful scenic drive through mountains and fertile valleys we reach Delphi, located under the 3000ft tall mountain Parnassos. There we will visit the Archaeological museum of Delphi, we will see the Archaeological site of Delphi and the site of the temple of Apollo.
In that stop we will see an amazing luxurius village that was built on the edge of the mountain,amazing view,god time for relaxing and take a coffe or souvenirs.
Distomo a dramatic village in 1944 350 people lost their lifes,it was a Nazi war crime perpetrated by members of the Waffen-SS in the village of Distomo, Greece, in 1944, during the German occupation of Greece during World War II.
In this extra local area...!!! In the end of the tour all the travellers will enjoy in a very beutifull greek TAVERNA greek food as grill food,salads,deserts,wine,beer,soft dinks. All this food is payed from our copmany,all inclusive meal in the end for all.

For 1-4 passengers the tour will be provided with a Mercedes Benz Eclass. For 5-8 travellers the tour will be provided with a Mercedes Benz Minivan.For 9-20 passengers the tour will be provided with a Mercedes Benz Sprinter. a) We can pick up customers from where ever they want inside in the region of Athens,airbnb,hotels,metro stations,bus stations,apartments.We just need after the booking a short communication to agree the pickup point. b) The pick up point can be Also from the Cruise Terminal or the Ath Int Airport.Please provide to us as soon as possible details like Name of the ship / airline , arrival time and number of flight.Please also provide us any other details you need about your pick up. c) If there is a Strike in The city Center or a special event that effects the tour,the tour may change start time or ITINERARY under the instructions of the operator and the agreement of the customer d) Please provide as much as possible contact details to the operator even after the booking e) Please mention to the operator if there are Health restrictions f) If the booking will start from Ath Int Airport the time of the tour start to count from the pickup of the customer,so do not stress your self in cases of Delay of flights g) If the tour is combined with a transfer the Maximum Luggage ( american size 32kl) can be no more than 3 and the start time of the tour starts at the time of the first pickup eg :( There is a customer that buys a tour starting from Cruise terminal but first he/she wants to be transferred to his Hotel to do the check in and then to start the tour. ) if the customer wants extra services than the ones that paid for,the operator will charge him extra and the payment will be done to the driver in cash or credit card.

We did the Thermopylae, Meteora and Delphi Private Full Day Tour with our guide Ozzy and had an absolutely wonderful time! Ozzy is such an amazing source of knowledge, and explains things so well that we were all (12yr old to 49 yr old) mesmerised for the whole day. We started early, and my plan was to have a nap in the car in the morning, but as soon as Ozzy started talking I was hooked and wide awake. He managed to avoid some rain clouds by rearranging the order of the sites so that by the time we got to them we had clear blue skies and plenty of time to walk around them. We as a family of 4 had one of the best experiences on our holiday by having Ozzy take us around, and we cannot recommend it more! So many amazing memories, and we learned so much too! Thank you Ozzy for making our day!

Wonderful experience seeing these 2 UNESCO world heritage sites. A must see when in Athens. Our tour guide and driver. Giorgio was very informative. We got picked up on time in a Mercedes sedan. The ride was long but very comfortable and safe.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience on the Delphi and Meteora Private Day Trip from Athens with Theodores Travel! Our guide for the day was a wonderful gentleman named Patty, and he truly went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. My husband is 85 years old with mobility issues, and I am also disabled. Traveling to historic sites can sometimes be daunting, but Patty made everything incredibly accessible and comfortable for us. Thanks to his attentiveness and care, we were able to fully enjoy and experience these special places without any stress. Not only was he accommodating, but he was also an exceptional guide. Patty explained the history of each site in great detail, and he spoke so clearly that he was incredibly easy to understand. To top off an already perfect day, Patty took us to a special little restaurant at the end of the tour, and the food there was absolutely delicious! What an amazing day! Our private driver (Nikos) picked us up at our hotel right on time. He drove us to Metora, explaining things along the way. Once in Meteora he took us to a number of the monasteries and allowed us as much time as we wanted at each. He also stopped at a number of incredible photo spots. We continued on to Delphi and, again, Nikos allowed us as much time as we wanted. The drive through the mountains was stunning (if you are inclined to be carsick on winding mountain roads, be warned!). Dinner at their private restaurant was very good! On our way back to the hotel, Nikos gave us additional bonus tips for our next day of exploring Athens on our own. I would recommend this to everyone - it was amazing!
