Itinerary
After hotel pickup on the Las Vegas Strip, begin your adventure with a commemorative photo at the iconic Death Valley National Park sign, a perfect memento of your journey into one of the most unique landscapes on Earth.
Enjoy sweeping panoramic views of Death Valley from Dante’s View, a breathtaking overlook perched 5,476 feet above the valley floor. From here, you’ll spot expansive salt flats, rugged desert terrain, and the lowest point in North America. Fun fact: this stunning location was used as the setting for Mos Eisley in the original Star Wars!
Badwater Basin sits at an astonishing -282 feet below sea level, making it the lowest point in North America. A wooden Sea Level sign mounted high on the cliff face shows just how far below sea level you’ve descended. Here, the salt flats stretch endlessly, with natural salt formations crystallizing year-round across the valley floor.
Marvel at the stunning sedimentary hills of the Black Mountains, where nature puts on a colorful show. Known as Artist’s Palette, this vibrant landscape features swirling hues of pink, gold, green, and purple that look like they’ve been brushed onto the rock by hand. It’s a breathtaking stop that feels like stepping into a living painting.
Zabriskie Point offers one of the most iconic views in Death Valley National Park, overlooking the golden badlands near Furnace Creek. Just a short paved walk leads you to a panoramic vista of striking canyons, rugged gulches, and wave-like formations. It's an unforgettable spot to witness the vibrant colors of the desert landscape, especially at sunset.
Experience some of the clearest and most awe-inspiring stargazing in the world, far from the bright lights of Las Vegas. Your exact stargazing location will vary based on sunset time and weather conditions, ensuring the best possible celestial views. Under Death Valley’s dark skies, you'll witness a dazzling display of stars, planets, and constellations. - Stargazing may not be possible on nights with a full or bright moon, or on cloudy days.
Take a quick rest stop in Pahrump to stretch your legs and recharge. This small desert town offers a convenient break before continuing your journey back to Las Vegas betwen 10pm-1am.

I recently took my sister in law on this trip having done it the year before myself and enjoyed it. A fantastic day with plenty to see. It was made even better by Andrew, our guide for the day. His efforts, knowledge and sense of humour were very much appreciated. Highly recommend.
Death Valley is an amazing place. I was just looking for something to do to fill in my vacation and picked it because the pics people took were beautiful. Our guide Andrew was funny, engaging, and knowledgeable about all of the places we passed by and stopped at to take pics. Whether it was showing us locations that parts of the Star Wars movies were filmed, a Tesla burst into flames, or how Death Valley got its name, he knew the area very well. Andrew also made sure to help us with taking pics, always offering to take some for everyone in my group. He brought plenty of water along for everyone and made plenty of restroom breaks. At the stargazing location, he brought mats for us to lay on and look at the stars, and also took a long exposure photo for everyone that showed the Milky Way.
The death valley national park is under-appreciated. It has a variety of unique landscapes, and the view is breathtaking. The best part of the trip is our tour guide, Andrew Cho. He is knowledgeable and considerate. He paced the entire trip perfectly. Six out of five stars.
Fantastic time on this trip, this was our second time to Death Valley but our first star gazing and it was worth every penny. The main star of the trip was our guide Andrew who made it great as he made sure everyone on the tour got the most out of the time spent at the locations we visited. I would highly recommend booking this tour and if you get Andrew you are in for a great time.
Absolutely wonderful. Andrew was the best. Loved the experience. Would recommend this tour and guide to anyone
Amazing tour! Our guide, Jason, took such good care of us and made everything very special. We loved the music he added to the tour!
The scenery was breathtaking. Andrew was an AWESOME guide! He kept us laughing & He was very knowledgeable of the areas we visited and even answered many questions unrelated to us curious minds. 10 stars!
Our tour guide, Andrew was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and and a ton of fun. All the sights were absolutely stunning. It was such a great day and we all had the best time! I highly recommend this excursion.
Booked the star gazing tour with the Wife as part of our first visit to Death Valley. It dawned on us very quickly that the Park is one of the most underrated areas of natural beauty in North America. In our opinion it destroys the Grand Canyon on several fronts without the commercialism attached. Our guide for the tour Andrew was a lovely guy who made the trip as fun or as easy paced as you’d like. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and was always there for pictures if you need him. Positives: -jaw dropping natural beauty that is easily on par with anything back home in Australia -down to earth guide who loves what he does Negatives: -the tour is very much no bells or whistles which may not suit some but hey it’s the middle of the desert, as long as you get around safely it’s all you can really ask for. Definitely would re-book
Great trip, informative and fun driver, overall expectations were exceeded! Did everything that was advertised! Jason, our driver was fantastic!
