Itinerary

10 min

Make a quick stop at the iconic Death Valley National Park welcome sign — the perfect place to capture a signature photo of your visit. Your guide will help you take well-framed shots before you continue deeper into the park for the day’s main highlights.

Admission included30 min

Visit one of Death Valley’s most breathtaking viewpoints. From nearly 5,500 feet above the valley floor, Dante’s View offers sweeping, unobstructed views of Badwater Basin, the Panamint Mountains, and the vast desert landscape. Enjoy a short, easy walk along the ridge where your guide will help you capture stunning wide-angle photos of the park’s natural beauty.

Admission included30 min

Experience one of Death Valley’s most famous viewpoints. Zabriskie Point features sweeping views of golden badlands, layered rock formations, and dramatic desert ridges. Your guide will lead you on a short, paved walk to the viewpoint, where you’ll have time to enjoy the scenery and capture beautiful photos of this unique landscape.

Admission included30 min

Explore one of Death Valley’s most iconic landscapes — the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes. These rolling golden dunes create a surreal desert scene with rippled patterns, shifting light, and wide-open views. Take a short walk into the dunes to experience the soft sand under your feet while your guide helps you capture beautiful desert photographs. This stop is ideal for scenic photos, silhouettes, and relaxed walking at your own pace.

Admission included45 min

Stop at Furnace Creek, the central hub of Death Valley National Park. This area offers restrooms, a visitor center, and informative exhibits about the park’s extreme climate. After a long day of sightseeing, enjoy a relaxing dinner break at one of the local restaurants before continuing toward your sunset and stargazing locations.

Admission included30 min

Visit Badwater Basin, one of Death Valley’s most iconic locations and the lowest point in North America at 282 feet below sea level. Walk onto the vast white salt flats that stretch as far as the eye can see, creating a surreal, otherworldly landscape. Your guide will help you explore safely and capture stunning photos of the unique polygon-shaped salt formations.

Admission included45 min

Visit Artist’s Palette, one of Death Valley’s most vibrant and unique landscapes. The hills here are naturally colored in shades of pink, green, yellow, and purple — created by oxidized minerals in the rock. Your guide will take you along the scenic Artist Drive to reach this viewpoint, where you’ll have time to walk around and capture the beautiful multicolored formations.

45 min

End your day with a peaceful stargazing experience at Death Valley Junction, one of the region’s best dark-sky areas outside the park. Away from major city lights, this quiet desert location offers clear, unobstructed views of the night sky. Your guide will point out major constellations and help you enjoy the beauty of the Milky Way, depending on seasonal visibility.

60 min

After stargazing, we’ll make a comfortable rest stop at Pahrump before beginning the drive back to Las Vegas. Relax in the SUV/van as your guide safely transports you back to the city. You’ll be dropped off at the same location where you were picked up in the morning.

Luxury VIP tour of Death Valley - 5 stars!!!

Extraordinary tour of an extraordinary place. We traveled in a comfortable luxury SUV for our private tour to one of the harshest places on earth. Our guide, Jay, is passionate and knowledgeable and structured a 10-hour tour that enabled us to efficiently see the remarkable sights. A real plus was Jay’s communication in advance of our experience, explaining what to wear and what to expect so we could safely enjoy our adventure. This was an unforgettable day that was greatly enhanced by Jay’s skills and professionalism. Highly recommend this itinerary and highly recommend Jay.

This was an awesome tour!...

This was an awesome tour! We signed up for the small group up to 12 people, but it turned out to be a private tour of just my husband and me. Daniel was absolutely wonderful!! We would definitely recommend this tour...and ask for Daniel as your tour guide!

Good intention, poor execution…

We hired the private tour, the vehicle and timing was impeccable however, our guide could have done way better, he told us he was not feeling well. Few photos were taken (not that this is his job but others tour guides will point you to the right spots or assist you); minimum to no commentary of the landmarks and many awkward moments like taking personal calls on speaker. I did this tour before with the small group, and it was one of the best tours. The guide is critical for success. Paying for the private tour it’s not worth the material cost premium.

Operator response

Thank you so much for your honest feedback, Raul. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share both your positive and negative experiences with us. We’re very sorry that this private tour did not meet the standard you experienced previously with our small group tour. What you described — especially the lack of engagement and personal calls during the tour — is absolutely not the level of professionalism we aim to provide. We’re grateful you pointed this out to us, as this was not something we were aware of during the tour itself. We take guide performance very seriously, and your feedback has already been shared internally for immediate review and additional training. At the same time, we truly appreciate your kind comments regarding the itinerary, timing, and your previous experience with our company. We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with the high-quality experience you originally remembered from us. Thank you again for helping us improve. — iTravel USA Team

To get the best sky view...

To get the best sky view experience, pick a day when the moon isn’t so bright. Best time of year to go is March or April because of the weather can be extreme.

Death Valley Day

I was only given an option of 4. Definitely a 5+. Exceptional excellent day. Alex, our tour guide, was punctual, safe in driving, courteous, polite, pleasant, professional, extremely knowledgeable, dynamic and adventurous. His presentation exceeded our expectations and was the best guide we have ever had in our experiences. He took photos, patiently, which facilitated a day of mindfulness and relaxation. My husband and I, highly recommend Alex. We experienced more then imagined. Also, the customer service assistant Angela, communicated excellently as we had a few glitches with two other systems of touring. We will definitely reach out to this company on our next visit with Alex preferred. Thank you.
