Our journey to the Atlas Mountains was nothing short of unforgettable. From the very beginning, everything felt smooth and welcoming. Mohamed, our driver, was incredibly friendly and made the long drive comfortable with his warm personality and calm driving. Along the way, we felt at ease knowing we were in safe hands. Umar, our tour guide, truly made the experience special. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and constantly ensured that we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. His care and enthusiasm added a personal touch that made the trip feel more meaningful. The Atlas Mountains themselves were absolutely breathtaking. Every turn revealed spectacular views—towering peaks, scenic valleys, and landscapes that felt almost unreal. It was one of those days where you just pause and take it all in, appreciating the beauty around you. Overall, it was an amazing experience and definitely worth the money. A perfect combination of great people, stunning scenery, and lasting memories.
A very good day in Illil we started with a camel ride the guides were very kind after we visited a cooperative with a tea and tasting break Afternoon we did a hike with our cottage which was attentive and friendly and the best we have price several photos at the waterfall
I had a very good day With magnificent views. I took a lot of pictures.I wish to come back another time
Me and my friend booked this tour after we met 3 girls at our resort who did this and said how fun it was. I'm glad we listened and booked it. In the cooler days like november dec take warm clothes as it gets cold up there with the snowy peaks and make sure you have good shoes. I cant remember the driver’s name but he was so funny!! We had a great tour with 2 other lovely ladies from England. Really enjoyed the berber market, seeing how argan oil is made, the walk and the beautiful views. Abdoul was our tour guide and he was really good!! He answered all answers, the walk can be difficult at times with balance so he was always there with a hand. Lots of information about the villages. I really enjoyed talking to him and getting to know him. Yummy lunch at a local guest house before we start our journey back to Marrakech. Thanks All !! :) x
We had a wonderful day trip with Lahcen to the Atlas Mountains! We visited a small argan oil women’s cooperative, rode a camel in traditional Berber dress, hiked through small Berber villages to an incredible viewpoint, and finished our tour with a lovely meal prepared by Lahcen’s mother in his familial home. This tour is a culturally rich experience which deepened our understanding and appreciation of the Berber culture immensely. Very highly recommended!
Abdoul was an awesome host. From calling us before picking us up, to sharing stories about his village and culture, and inviting us into his home for a very authentic lunch. He even refused our tips in the end. Would recommend to anyone looking for a day out in the mountains with a local expert.
