From the moment your tour starts, your guide will give you full attention. Once in the car, your guide will talk to you about all the things on the way as well as other aspects of your tour that will interest you Travel by air conditioned vehicle to visit the magnificent Karnak temple the largest temple ever built, Walk through the Avenue of Sphinxes, visit the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 gigantic columns, see the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis III, and witness the temple of Amon, adorned with exquisite lotus and papyrus designs.
Followed by the world-famous Valley of the Kings, the original burial site of the boy King Tutankhamun where the magnificent Tombs were discovered carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the Pharaohs, and have the opportunity to visit three Tombs. (The three tombs visited are determined by the Egyptian Government to preserve them from the large flow of visitors, therefore are rotated throughout the year and cannot be confirmed as to which tombs prior to your visit. King Tut’s tomb which you will visit from the inside. Tutankhamun ruled Egypt for approximately 10 years from around 1336-1327 BCE. In November 1922, Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon discovered Tutankhamun’s near-intact tomb in the Valley of the Kings. The king’s mummified body was found surrounded by precious grave goods, in his golden coffin, after his burial chamber was officially opened on 17 February 1923 in the presence of Egyptologists and government officials. On the return journey stop-off at the Colossi of Memnon, 2 gigantic statues representing Amenophis III facing the Nile. Then transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo and transfer to your Hotel.
Continuing on to visit Hatshepsut’s Temple at El Deir El Bahary. This impressive Temple was dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut the only female Pharaoh, which rises out of the desert plain in a series of terraces and merges with the sheer limestone cliffs.

Perfect English. By far the most knowledgeable guide I have ever had ! He actually running an architectural excavation site. We really enjoyed hearing about the history along with the most fascinating stories on how things were discovered. This tour was 100 percent catered to our interest- taking us to a perfume factory as well as a private boat ride to banana island.

We throughly enjoyed the Aswan area and Abu Simbel with Mustafa. He was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable Egyptologist. He gave us very in-depth knowledge about every site we visited and gave us pointers on how to tour the city if we wanted to go at night on our own which was very safe. We truly enjoyed our experience in Aswan with Mustafa.

We had an absolutely incredible experience on our Nile cruise, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Mohamad. From the very beginning, he was knowledgeable, organized, and genuinely passionate about Egypt’s history and culture. Since it was just the two of us traveling, the experience felt very personal. Mohamad took the time to explain the history behind each temple and site in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. He brought the hieroglyphics, architecture, and stories of the pharaohs to life, which made every stop along the Nile feel meaningful and memorable. My husband and I had a great time! The tour guide and driver were very knowledgeable and took us to the main attraction tourist locations as well as other hidden gems. The tour was actually private (which we did not know). I would recommend this trip! This dynamic duo team were both named Ahmed so it’s easy to request when booking this excursion.
Flying from Cairo to Luxor was a great experience. Mohamed Farrag my guide was very experienced and gave me information that I truly appreciated. He was honest with me upfront snd gave me the do and don’ts for every location and Abdul my driver navigated us everywhere in a way that gave me more time to do other things. Our guide was excellent in every respect. He was on time, invariably friendly, and extremely well-informed. He had a real dramatic talent when he told us about the Egyptian gods and pharaohs. It was never boring. He took us to a great Nubian restaurant. I can recommend him in the highest terms.

The trip was part of 11 day Egypt trip coordinated by Ramssides tours. This portion combined river cruise plus additional land tours at Luxor and Aswan. The tour guide was a wonderful Egyptologist Farig. The places we visited were Abydos and Dandara, Karnak and Luxor temples Kom Ombos Valley of the Kings and Abu Simbel Temples. Aswan Dam and Philae temple. Our favorite in order Abydos Karnak Abu Simbel Luxor Followed by others. First great architecture and very moving display. The guide Farag was absolutely fantastic and I would ask for him. Very knowledgeable patient and ensures your needs are taken care. Second the cruise ship Nile Shadow was excellent although they can improve on vegetarian food options esp on the first and last day. The tour coordinator Mariam Sany was excellent and so we're drivers
