One of the leading eye attractions of this tour will be the Zhinvali Water Reservoir. This beautiful, greenish-colored reservoir is the leading photo stop in this direction and attracts visitors with its color and forested mountain surroundings.
Ananuri Fortress is considered one of the well-preserved fortresses from the late Middle Ages. This fantastic temple and castle are full of Georgian history and culture. Unique stone carvings and spiritual frescoes will be the main targets of interest.
You can try the most typical mountain dishes in a traditional Georgian restaurant in Pasanauri. Taste the most local mountain dishes like Khinkali(Georgian Dumplings).
In Gudauri, you can present and taste different varieties of natural alpine honey. In mountain fields, you can taste different flowers and plants from the slopes of the mountains in this delicious locally-produced honey.
The Friendship Monument of Georgian and Russian People was built in 1983. It is a large, round stone arch and concrete structure overlooking the Devil's Valley in the Caucasus mountains. We can try Glintwine and have some free time for mountain activities like Quadro cycles and snowmobiles.
You will see the highest-located cross-cupola church in Georgia, Gergety Trinity Church. It is one of the most breathtaking and spiritual spots in the entire country. The temple offers fantastic views of the town of Stephantsminda and the sights of Mount Kazbegi, which is elevated at 5047 meters.

The driver Mr P and tour guide tota were excellent nice views i love the mountains so it's really great experience for me
I absolutely loved it. To see the Caucasus mountains has always been my dream. Want to say a huge thank you to the bus driver and the guide Nicolas (Tota) they made us, guests, feel safe and kept us interested during the ride.
It was an enjoyable tour with important spots gathered in one day. I highly recommend it. The views, landscapes, scenery; all were amazing. Our tour guide Tota (Nicholas) was very friendly and helped us a lot to understand the context of the spots. You should be cautious with weather conditions; bring an umbrella, a jacket and comfortable shoes. A small group tour, it gives chance to meet with new people. At the lunch they serve delicious khinkali. We enjoyed our tour. I recommend it.
The tour took around 10 hours. Our guide, Nicholas (Tota) was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful throughout the day. The group was not crowded, which made the experience more enjoyable. Keep in mind that there is an additional fee for the vehicle, which is not included in the tour price.
Great views and monuments, love the guide Tota!!!
Tota and Mr B were brilliant! Guide is very knowledgeable and helpful
We had a great daytrip to Kazbegi and Gudauri on 23rd April. The weather meant we went from 20C+ (Tbilisi) to snowing quite heavily and road closures so we only got to the Georgian & Russian Friendship monument. But what a memorable day we had. The guide was very informative and he and the driver did their best to try and get us to Kazbegi (two attempts). The Ananuri fortress complex is a spectacularly beautiful and atmospheric place. The Alpine Guadauri was a beautiful surprise. We may not have seen Georgia`s poster shot highlight of Gergheti church but we will never forget being stood in the snow at the Friendship Monument. The bonus for the weather interruption was a visit on our return to Tblisi to the Chronical of Georgia which was quite something to be seen.
This trip is fantastic and so cheap for what you get. Our guide Saba was fabulous telling us the full Georgian history while being driven by Zaza through the beautiful Georgian countryside and mountains. The sights are truly worth seeing and you will not be disappointed.
