Full day trip to the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou and Telouet valley from Marrakech (duration 12 hours) is a foretaste that will make us want to discover all the great Moroccan south. After crossing the high Atlas and the Tizin'Tichka Pass (7,410 feet) above sea level, we will leave behind mountains rich in vegetation to arrive in a desert region, it is in the famous fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou that will stop to visit his Kasbah, camouflaged in the mountain. Classed World Heritage by UNESCO. The return to Marrakech will be done on a part through the famous road caravans, Telouet kasbah has a rich history that is intertwined with the French. It is located in a fertile valley surrounded by palm, fig and olive trees. The Kasbah stands alone with its original zellij tile decorated with the Jewish Star of David, preserved silks and grand remnants of the El Pacha Glaoui family This small-group tour includes all the necessary entrance fees plus a Marrakech hotel pickup and drop-off.

Amazing adventure in the Atlas Mountains and the Kasbah in the Telouet valley. The scenery was breathtakingly spectacular and the people so hospitable. The trip would not have been the same without our amazing tour guide Anouar! Professional and so knowledgeable he provided so much information about the sights and took care of our needs and safety. He found us a lovely mountain top restaurant for breakfast, coffee shop and even took us to an argan oil demonstration, the market place and more. What wonderful memories we have of that tour. We definitely recommend the day trip and Anouar!
Anouar was our driver and guide. We had an amazing day especially because Anouar was welcoming and friendly. We gained lots of knowledge and history of the Berber way—of-life in the Atlas Mountains. He introduced us to some lovely people at the Ben Haddou Kasbah and kept us entertained throughout the long day. We felt safe and welcomed where ever we went. Thank you! The driver was a very gentlemanly man and safe and careful throughout the ride. Teruet Kasbah was closed due to the earthquake, but the driver stopped at many photo spots, including halfway up the Atlas Mountains, and I was very happy.
The excursion to the ancient casbah of Ait Ben Haddou was great! We had a great time, and Lahcen accompanied us throughout the day, filling the journey with historical anecdotes about the region. He was lovely to us. The visit to the casbah was also very interesting, it is something to do, I recommend.
