Lovely day

None of our party drinks tea, but we still loved this visit to this historic tea farm. Not only was there much to learn about the complexity of how tea ends up in a store, there was a walk through old growth forest and a home made lunch. All in a beautiful, serene setting.

Amazing.

This excursion is definitely worthwhile. Fiona, the owner of the tea plantation, and her team lead a fantastic hike and talk about not only tea, but also the local forest, wildlife, and land. It is all followed up with a huge feast. Martin, who organized everything for me, including my pickup, was wonderful. He was prompt, efficient, and friendly, offering plenty of great advice and ideas for my stay in Nairobi. I highly recommend this entire experience, and I suggest you let Martin take you somewhere to buy souvenirs that offers fair and honest pricing.
