Day tour to Hells Gate Park and Lake Naivasha
Description
Enjoy biking safari, walk at the gorges and a beautiful boat ride on lake Naivasha. Spend the day away from the busy streets of Nairobi and in the great outdoors during this private excursion. Visit Hell’s Gate National Park for a biking safari, take a hike through the gorges and caves, and enjoy a relaxing boat ride on nearby Lake Naivasha (own expense). All national park fees and transportation are included for your convenience.

Itinerary
7am - Depart Nairobi and start of drive to Naivasha, brief stop over at the Great rift valley view point.
Arrive at the gate of hells gate at around 9am. Start of the biking tour at hells gate for 2 hours 11am - Visit the gorges inside the park. Gorges are small thin depressions of land mass where you can walk underneath. Some areas have formed caves where you can walk through. This will take 1 hour. 1pm - Finish the tours and bring the bikes back at the gate.
1pm - Have Lunch on the shores of lake Naivasha then take a 1 hour boat ride in the lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing. 4pm - End of all activities start of drive back to Nairobi. Arrive by 6pm

The guides knew so much about the area and took great care of us throughout the day! The National Park was gorgeous (very sunny and hot- not a lot of shade!), so be prepared with water and sunblock, if needed. Our driver transported us directly to the site from our hotel and was so kind. We also had a parks tour guide that was incredibly knowledgeable about the park history and landscapes. Would definitely recommend!

It was an awesome experience. We saw a lot of different animal and the way was really comfortable for going by bike. Really good for young travelers, we did a special tour and climbed through a canyon! We had a lot of fun! Our guide Simba was awesome and everything was well organized. Great finish at lake Naivascha !

I did a significant amount of research before booking this tour and I must say I was not disappointed. Our tour guide was Peter and he did such an amazing job from start to finish My wife was a little anxious about the level of effort required along with negative animal experience and he did a great job of putting her mind to ease and just a great person. He had a lot of knowledge but only provided it based on our desire to listen to it so the tour was really whatever we made it to be. The bike ride and seeing animals was great, hiking down to a hot spring was great and finally, the boat tour around the lake was great. We watched an eagle fish in front of us. Saw giraffes, buffaloes, antelope, monkeys, hippos, and a huge variety of birds. Very highly recommended regardless of your fitness level. The transportation was also very clean and Sima aka Shadrack also made sure we were having a good time and checked upon us as well. Respectful, not-pushy, and wonderfully organized! Made for a great day trip!

Hells Gate Park and Lake Naivasha is definitely worth a visit! Simba was a great guide and drove us first to a viewpoint where we had an amazing view over the Great Rift Valley. After that we went to the Hells Gate National Park where we made a bike and walking tour through the park with another guide while seeing a lot of animals. Later we went to Lake Naivasha where we could eat some lunch and go on a boat ride. It was also a fantastic experience, seeing many bird and hippos really close. I would totaly recommend this day trip and Bush Pumba Safaris as we were able to see a lot of things in just one day and the tour was very well organised!
