Itinerary
7am – Depart Nairobi and start of drive to Naivasha, brief stop over at the Great rift valley view point. Arrive at the gate of hells gate at around 9am. Start of the biking tour at hells gate for 2 hours 11am – Visit the gorges inside the park. Gorges are small thin depressions of land mass where you can walk underneath. Some areas have formed caves where you can walk through. This will take 1 hour. 1pm – Finish the tours and bring the bikes back at the gate.
1pm – Drive to Naivasha Fishermans camp for lunch. 2pm – Take a 1 hour boat ride in the lake for bird watching and hippo viewing. 4pm – End of all activities start of drive back to Nairobi. Arrive by 6pm End of tour

We had such a great time doing the bike tour and hike at Hells Gate. Our driver Steven was so friendly and telling us lots of information about the areas we were in and our tour guide at Hells Gate, Gomez, was excellent! Gomez took us on an extra bit of the gorge walk which included bare foot walking through the water at times and then a little bit of rock climbing. When I was struggling cycling back in the heat, Gomez pushed me through the hard bits - literally - I didn't have to pedal! Steven then got us safely to the airport. The whole day was great, such a beautiful location and we loved having a more active day - it definitely tired us out ahead of our flight!

I was the only person on this tour but I didn’t matter because the guides, especially Gomez in hells gate and Ian on the lake were brilliant.

Stephen our driver and Gomez, our guide for the cycling were both excellent. Leslie was able to book us this excursion the day before without a hitch. Although it rained during our boat ride, we were able to make the best of it.

Nuru is the best guide! We loved his enthusiasm from the very first moment. He told us so much about Kenya and its history. We could literally ask him ALL the questions in the world, and he answered everything with so much knowledge, patience and humor. It was such a pleasure to spend time with him; he made the whole experience not only informative but also incredibly gezellig and relaxed. He is starting his own company soon, and we can truly recommend everyone to book their tours with him. You won’t regret it! The bike ride was also super fun. Calm, beautiful and such a special way to see the animals up close. The boat trip was very relaxing and a perfect way to end the day.

Great experience both the driver (Isaac) and the tour guide at Hell's Gate (John) were fantastic, extremely nice and accommodating. John in particular made the bike and foot tour very memorable; I would highly recommend him and the trip, and would definitely do it again.

I took this tour with Nuru last weekend and it was absolutely wonderful. He was a great guide and very accommodating to the fact that I had very little rest due to a long travel day before. It was a perfect itinerary with beautiful nature and the opportunity to see many animals, and I really appreciated the kindness and flexility. The perfect weekend trip from Nairobi! Would really recommend.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Issac as our guide to Hell’s Gate National Park. From the very beginning of the trip, he impressed us with his knowledge, sharing detailed historical and cultural insights on our drive that truly enriched the journey.
