Highly recommend this tour. We had a fantastic day with a knowledge guide being shown the pyramids of Sakkara and Dahshur. Although we booked the group tour there were only 3 participants. The tour was well paced and the sites were not crowded at all. The guide also took some great photos for us.
The half day in Dashour, Memphis and Saqqarah was great, thanks to our guide Sayed M and our driver, both very attentive and available. Little extra stops at the carpet and papyrus factory, but no pressure to buy so appreciated. I recommend
Communication prior to the trip was non existing and I had to message them on WhatsApp and TripAdvisor to get confirmation. Driver was 10 min late at pick up point and still pressure for more tips at the end (already tip him 100 egp per person). Guide was good but rushing us a bit. No time for lunch so everyone was starving at the end.
A good tour of the dashur, Memphis and Saqara sites. Sayed and Esmal were good tour hosts - punctual, friendly and with good knowledge of the sites. Sayed recommended fantastic options to go inside tombs and pyramids for no extra charge. If you pick the option with tickets included the experience is smooth and the sites themselves are awesome and definitely worth seeing. Would recommend this tour - we were lucky and it was just the two of us which meant it felt like a private and personal experience.
Had an amazing experience with Mahmoud Anwar today. Very knowledgeable and managed to get us through the crowds. Would highly recommend.
Had a great tour with Sayed Mahmoud and driver Mohammad. Very informative and well organised!
Perfect half-day trip with our guide Seyid Mahmout and driver Youssid
Very well structured and informative Our guude Sayed Mahmoud was criendky and helpful wirh lits of additional unformation. He answered our many questions with grear knowledge and patience.
Avoid Emo Tours, they're thieves. They sent us a supposed Italian guide who knew only 5 words in Italian, who was absolutely unqualified and who had no background on Egyptian history. Terrible experience, an AGENCY OF THIEVES that must be absolutely avoided.
I had an incredible day exploring Dashur, Memphis, and Sakkara with Emo Tours. My guide Sayed Mahmoud and driver Ibrahim Abido picked me up right on time from my hotel in the morning. Ibrahim was an exceptional driver — smooth, safe, and professional. I was really tired, but his driving was so comfortable that I could actually sleep peacefully on the way to Dashur. Sayed had amazing energy from the start and kept my spirits up throughout the day. He’s not just a guide — he’s a natural storyteller with deep knowledge and experience. Every question I asked, he answered thoroughly and passionately. What I really appreciated was how easy it was to connect with him — our conversation felt effortless and genuine. I could tell him what I was interested in seeing (and what I wasn’t), and he adapted the tour perfectly to my preferences. In Sakkara, we also stopped by a carpet workshop, where a lovely guide explained the craft in both English and French. She was super engaging and, honestly, a great salesperson too! Overall, it was a fantastic experience — comfortable, educational, and truly enjoyable. I’d highly recommend Sayed Mahmoud and Ibrahim Abido with Emo Tours to anyone visiting Cairo. They made my day unforgettable!
