This was an exceptional experience. I found our guide, Mohammed Hedar, to be incredibly professional and very flexible. He suggested a pick up time and though it was early it was well worth it. Our guide was intuitive and by that I mean that he knew when to give information and when to give us space to enjoy the site. His knowledge was an astounding blend of traditional history, modern views and Mystical traditions. His humbleness and respect for the sites made the day trip even more special , for example, he allowed a temple to feel like a temple and not just rocks on the ground. Our driver, Mohammed Abdalla was equally professional. He not only opened the car door for me every single time, but he was a very safe driver, and that means alot for 8 hours worth of driving that day. I found the day was tailored to what we needed. If we needed more history that would have been provided but since we required more mysticism, that was also provided. I will specifically ask for this guide during my next trip to Amarna.
My guide Mohamad Hedar was exceptionally knowledgeable, informative & motivated. His time management skills, genuine nature, ability to converse with ease, answer question & show consideration to my party's personal preferences was beyond our expectation. Our driver Abdulla made sure car was cleaned & washed frequently, fresh smelling, stocked with water bottles & breakfast sandwiches as our 4.5hr started @6am. He accommodated our needs for a rest stops when needed. Both driver & guide were pleasant & professional. The sites were unforgetable & mindblowing. I will be booking this duo again on my next trip without a doubt.
