Come join our Suwon Tour where you can explore 4 main destinations in Suwon and Gyeonggido in a day! Starting from two convenient meet-up locations in Seoul, enjoy Waujeongsa Temple, Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, Starfield Library, and Hanbok Wearing Experience Center. We will drop you off back in Seoul at the end of tour. Waujeongsa Temple’s features various statues and sculptures, including a giant stone Buddha sitting on a lotus pedestal, a stone pagoda, and a stone bell. Suwon Hwaseong Fortress is a UNESCO World Heritage site and attracts tourists worldwide who come to appreciate its historical significance and architectural beauty. Starfield Library is a must-visit photo spot. Take amazing photos in this space where magnificent bookshelves unfold in a beautiful landscape. Lastly, at the Hanbok Wearing Experience Center, it shows the process of making Gim(dried laver) and you can buy them as souvenirs. Kimbap making & Hanbok wearing experiences are also included. Departing from the meeting points to Waujeongsa Temple.
Arriving at Waujeongsa Temple, a peaceful Buddhist sanctuary established in 1970. Experience the tranquility of Korean Buddhist culture and admire the temple's unique features, including over 3,000 Buddha statues from around the world and the massive golden Buddha head at the entrance.
Transportation from Waujeongsa Temple to Suwon Hwaseong Fortress
Adventure at the magnificent Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built in the late 18th century. As you walk along its impressive 5.74 km stone walls, you'll be transported back to the Joseon Dynasty era. The fortress showcases the ultimate in 18th-century military construction, integrating ideas from Europe and East Asia.

Starfield Library Suwon Next, immerse yourself in the contemporary cultural hub of Starfield Library Suwon. This modern library offers a unique atmosphere with towering bookshelves and innovative design, representing the city's forward-thinking approach to public spaces.
Transportation from Suwon to Hanbok Wearing & Kimbap Making Experience Center.
We will visit Hanbok Wearing Experience Center and see how to make Korea traditional food, Gim(Dried Laver). You can buy them there as souvenirs. Kimbap Making Experience & Hanbok Wearing Experience are also included.
Transportation from Suwon to Seoul. The tour will end at Hongik Univ, Station & Myeongdong Station, the two drop-off sites.

Seongbae Kim was WONDERFUL! We covered so much that we were want to see in this one day. If you’re considering booking this tour please do! It was my favorite in Korea!
I feel like we saw more of Korea with this guided tour. We got to visit some places in the city and also discover a little bit of the country side! There is a bit of driving but it was is a great all-day excursion and we got to experience hands-on with some Korean traditions.

It was super fun; at first, there is the Buddhist temple, and I loved seeing the statues of the Asian zodiac signs, then the dragon gate, the bookstore is impressive, and Dani explaining everything.
