The Ouzoud waterfalls are about 160 km away from Marrakech, embedded in the M’goun UNESCO Global Geopark, a vast area of high mineralogical and paleontological relevance. The waterfalls are famous to be spectacular as well as the highest in North Africa, with a drop of 110 m. which produces an epic rumble and a permanent rainbow.

Escape the hustle and bustle of Marrakech for a full-day tour to the dramatic Ouzoud Falls, located near the Grand Atlas village of Tanaghmeilt in the province of Azilal. Following a pick-up from your hotel or riad, transfer to the Ouzoud Falls by air-conditioned minibus. Along the way, marvel at the traditional towns and typical Berber villages of the Grand Atlas, and pass through the shade of ancient olive trees as you approach the waterfalls. Upon arrival at Ouzoud, after an approximate -2.5 hour drive, enjoy about 4 hours at the cascades to soak up the nature. Look out for the resident monkeys, and take a swim in the crystal clear waters. After a relaxing afternoon, depart for the return transfer to Marrakech, with an estimated arrival of 18:00.

This was a perfect trip to a wonderful attraction! Everything went as planned; our driver picked us up at the hotel in Marrakesh, and our guide met us at the specified time at the OUzoud Falls. The drive to the falls was smooth, and our driver provided us with interesting details and information along the way. Our tour guide at the Ouzoud Falls was a local who knew many interesting details about the fall, the people, and the history of the place. We wanted to walk around the waterfall, from top to bottom - it was a leisurely 1-2-hour walk among pomegranate trees full of fruits, olive trees, etc. A short trip with a traditional boat to get as close as possible to the waterfalls is included. The lunch (included) was at a nearby restaurant with freshly prepared simple but delicious homemade, traditional Moroccan food. Our table provided an excellent view of the waterfall. After that, we went to see the few Moroccan macaques who lived around the waterfall. After the tour, our driver drove us back to our hotel in Marrakesh. Perfect trip, highly recommended!
The trip was awesome! We loved the falls and it was so affordable to get out there. We had a great time and it was so easy just getting picked up and dropped off at our hotel.
To piggy-back off the below review, yes, he is a great tour guide! We loved him. My family of 7 visited Ouzoud and he showed us how Berbers lived, boat ride, Ouzoud falls, and then we spent time visiting the monkeys. I forgot his name though, I believe his name is Omar. We went with my mother-in-law who has a bad knee, and he was very patient and helped her throughout the entire journey. Definitely trying to get the tour with him.. he's such a nice guy, I'll miss him. Surprised this tour only has two reviews, but don't let that stop you - from pick up to drop off, everything was perfect.

The Tour with our guide Hachim (the nice guy with the blue flip-flops 😂 and a very funny sence of humor), was better than expected. We walked down to the waterfall, had a tiny boat tour to the waterfall and a really nice dinner with an awesome view. Someone picked us up in the Morning and drove us to the Bus and in the evening back home! Great Organisation! Thanks again for such a nice day! - The German Couple 😂💪🏽
