Aladdin was a thorough and awesome tour guide. He took the time to answer any questions we had and even added a little fun trivia. There was never a dull moment with him and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and learned so much.
Comfortable, excellent value for money Safe and educational. Karin and his driver are exceptional. Very good hosts.
Nice experience! The guide was incredible, correct explanations, really dedicated to us. The best option to meet the old pyramids
Consistent with my expectations. The driver was nice and I was able to make the visits I wanted.
Each location is quite far apart and definitely requires a car, so I’m glad we chose this tour. They helped us take photos and supported us with buying tickets as well. The reason I deducted one star is because we were pressured to write a review. We were strongly urged to write it on the spot, and to be honest, we were tired and felt uncomfortable. We also joined other tours operated by Emo Tours, and we were asked to write a review immediately there as well, so it seems to be something the company systematically encourages. The staff were kind and the tour itself was wonderful, so I believe they would receive good reviews even without pressuring customers.
The guide Sam picked us up at the hotel by private car (the driver drove quite well). Great conversationalist but very poorly prepared: he did not tell us anything that we could not find on the Internet, among other things with many mistakes (one of them, the sphinx of Memphis alabaster with the effigy of Akhenaten is not alabaster and represents Ramses!) and every time we asked a question for further information he deflected the speech, pretending not to understand, despite speaking perfect Italian. The purpose of these visits is to discover new things and in this case it was completely disregarded. With a different and more prepared guide it would certainly have been much more interesting.
It is a good itinerary in terms of sites and duration. We chose the option of the included tickets and it was much better because we didn’t worry about it. However, the guidance was very mediocre. The guide, although attentive and good people, does not have much knowledge about the issues and said many inaccurate facts that we had to review online.
Our half day tour included visitors of the sites of Saqqarah, Dahshur and Memphis. We were accompanied by a guide and a driver, who didn't try to sell us anything or change the program in any way. Our guide was knowledgeable and had a good command of English. The driver was one of the best we met in Egypt.
My husband and I just had the most amazing day visiting Saqqara, Dahshur and Memphis. We were picked up from our hotel at the agreed time, visited the three sites, plus a papyrus museum and an oil and essence boutique. Nice buffet lunch with view to the Giza pyramids. Our private guide Menna and our driver Abdallah were simply amazing, flexible, understanding and easygoing! Best choice to discover Egypt!
Had a great time on the tour! The driver was punctual and professional. And the tour was well-organized. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Egypt’s ancient wonders beyond the usual spots!
