Shahpur Jat was formerly part of Siri, one of Delhi's old cities. The remnants of the ancient city still evident here. Around 700 years ago, the Panwar Gotra Jats of Madhya Pradesh were enticed to the lush fields of Shahpur Jat. While the farmland grounds have given place to trendy stores, the Jat population still lives here. If you've ever had to buy for a wedding, you've probably heard about Delhi Shahpur Jat Fashion Street. If you haven't already, you should! It's intended for those of us who don't want to pay the high prices of A-list designers but also don't want the generic Indian apparel that most lesser marketplaces provide.
Dariban Kalan warrants its name as the "Street of Incomparable Pearls". It is a 17th-century street in Old Delhi's Chandni Chowk, also known as Shahjahanabad. It links Chandni Chowk and Jama Masjid. It is a historical market known for precious stones and gold and silver jewellery. The street saw the brutal slaughter of Delhi in March 1739, commanded by Persian conqueror Nadir Shah, during which hundreds of innocent residents and troops were slain and gold stores robbed.
Kinari Bazaar is a wholesale marketplace. Here you will find everything you need for a gathering or celebration, particularly a wedding. A wide selection and collection of borders and decorations may be obtained here at a very reasonable cost. Purchase any embroidery supplies such as lace, threadwork, embellishments, borders, stonework, gold/silverwork, and garlands. Here you may see the greatest embroidered art from throughout India.
Chandni Chowk has plenty to offer everyone. Chandni Chowk is known for its diversity and authenticity, offering over 1,000 different types of cuisine, delicacies, and sweets, as well as sarees with chikan and zari. Shops along narrow passageways offer books, apparel, electronics, consumer items, shoes, and leather products. It is home to the original Haldiram's as well as other brands like Gianis. Jalebis are a native delicacy that is cooked in desi ghee (clarified butter). The Cloth Market provides home furnishing fabrics, ready-made goods, and design services. Nai Sarak is a wholesale marketplace for stationery, books, paper, and decorative goods. Lal Kuan is a wholesale marketplace for hardware and hotel culinary equipment. It is near to the Tilak Market, a wholesale market for industrial chemicals. Khari Baoli, located at the western end of Chandni Chowk, is a whole street devoted to spices, dried fruits, nuts, herbs. Dariba is a marketplace for silver & gold jewellery.
Khari Baoli is a street in Delhi, India, noted for its wholesale supermarket and Asia's biggest wholesale spice market, which sells a wide variety of spices, nuts, herbs, and food goods such as rice and tea. You may join a demo session to learn about the numerous Indian spices and choose a couple to give or use in your home.
INA is an open craft bazaar and textile market in Delhi. Unlike typical weekly markets, INA is permanent. It is situated in the commercial centre of South Delhi.

We had a large group of 12 visiting India for the first time. Our tour guide remained very flexible around our different landing times and different preferences. We visiting a few nice tourist stops within Delhi including a great spot for their famous butter chicken. Every spot we went to was clean and we felt safe the entire time.
