Welcome to Nairobi city, a city of different ethnic communities. While residing in the city, you can decide to visit a cultural show at Maasa market collections Karen. This tour is suitable before or after wildlife safaris. It is a must visit to all visitors. Situated 10km from Nairobi city center, and about 1 km past main entrance of the game-filled Nairobi National Park, the kaboma cultural center lets you see the wonderful diversity of cultures that make up this fascinating country. This is a 4 hours tour done daily from the city center.

Our guide shall be in time to pick you up from your city based hotel. After a brief introduction, you are ushered to an air conditioned vehicle for a smooth ride to this famous cultural center. The 2 hour dances show is represented by different tribes. Each tribe has a unique dancing style and instruments. You will just sit and everything will flow nicely. You are also free to join the dancers and make the show sweeter and memorable. The center has well priced Gifts, curios and souvenirs available for purchase after the dances. The restaurant at the center also offer local food and a coffee lounge. After all these activities, you shall be dropped to your city hotel with great memories

Very nice tour with Reuben. I recommend.
My guide Robert, was a safe and reliable guide. He made sure I was comfortable through the entire tour. He was very kind and polite. The dancers were very interactive and energetic. They were a real treat to seeing culture in Kenya. I highly recommend traveling with a knowledgeable guide like Robert and to include tours that bring you closer to the people you are visiting. Each dance was explained and presented in a wonderful way.
The visit to Bomas of Kenya was very interesting. Aside from the dances, the visit to see traditional village outdoor museum was quite interesting. You get to see about 24 different tribal villages. Visit them before the dance which starts a 3:30. Our guide Eric was flexible and we changed our itinerary to suit our interests (less shopping, more culture).

Our tour was listed at 2 which we verified when we booked. The person however showed up at 1 and said it was at 1. This meant I wasn’t able to get any of my things (including camera) as We had just walked back into our hotel. He than drove us in a car with markings for the best western and not functioning seat belts to a curio shop. He said the place doesn’t open until 330 so he was trying to fill 2 hrs. At 2 we headed to Bomas and he said we’d just wander around for an hour and a half until they opened. The tour lists it including bottled water. They didn’t provide that. There was one other person who the driver would whisper to the whole time. When we got back to our hotel the driver than had the nerve to ask for a tip after being rude, not providing what was promised, etc. he glared at us when we said no. Do not waste your money on this. The listed price is not what they charge either. It was a big waste of our money. We’d much rather have gotten a taxi to the center and done it on our own.
HI meghan, We apologize for this tour not meeting your expectations. Though a tour may start at specific time, we usually avail our self earlier. In this case, the driver came early. We take it on our self for not giving you enough time to pick your camera, an error we have noted and rectified to our future clients. Though we recommend tipping, we do not support asking for it. <p>Really Good Fun overall, Although we arrived a little early we were taken to a local shopping mall and worked out cheaper booking on viator than booking at my hotel!</p>
