Itinerary
Pick up at your hotels in Ho Chi Minh City. The trip to Cu Chi will take you an approximately one and a half-hour bus drive. Before exploring the tunnels, you will watch an introductory video about how the tunnels were made and how Vietnamese people survived in the harsh conditions of the wartime. Then, spend your time exploring the remaining areas and tunnel system which include special living areas with kitchens and bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for the security purpose during the war. Afterwards, special tea and cassava (guerrillas’ food during the war) will be served. Break time. Have lunch at the local restaurant. Continue to visit My Tho city. With boat trip on Tien River, you will be excited by the light breeze from the river and the natural beauty of four beautiful islands such as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise along the riverside. Cruise through the small canal by sampan, treating yourself to the beauty of the countryside, and taking a short cycling around the village which will certainly be an unforgettable experience when participating in the Mekong Delta tour. Visit the coconut candy workshop, and enjoy seasonal delicious fruits & honey tea. Get a chance to listen to the Southern Vietnamese folk music which is performed by local people. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Trip ends.

Fantastic trip and well hosted Van bike and Le great travel guide
An interesting visit. Obviously, the most interesting part is going into the tunnels. It's incredible how they could have gotten through there, the tunnels are so low and narrow! For an extra fee, you can shoot a machine gun.
It was an amazing, enlightening and sombering experience. Highly recommend! We began with an informative cruise on the river then visited a farm where we sampled local grown fruit. Our tour concluded with a walk through the jungle and a tour of the tunnels below. There were informative displays along the way.
We joined a klook tour from Ho Chi Minh to the tunnels. It was around a 2 hour drive. Very meaningful experience to see and feel first hand how the locals survived during the war.
We did a full day tour stating with the tunnels . I am Claustrophobic so I Didn’t want to enter the tunnels themselves but still found it very interesting and informative We then went t to the Mekong delta and did an awesome tour of unicorn island - excellent
5, lockie 👍 nice tour around Cu Chi tunnel. Very energetic performance on the bus, telling Vietnam history and singing. Lockie also guided us through the tunnels, traps, and boat ride in the afternoon.
You have to take the cu chi tour with a pinch of salt: expect a lot of pro Vietnam propaganda, not making everything look as it was. The tunnels are extremely small, the soldiers are depicted as larger than they should be, making it a very biased experience. Nontheless very nice to do...
Very cool place if you’re looking for some of the Vietnam history. We went inside and crawled in some of the tunnels they got there. A little tight but a good experience
Great experience, lots of information on the tunnels and how the Vietnamese lived in them. Managed to fit inside the tunnels but it was said that these tunnels have been made wider for visitors. Lots of toilet locations, it does get a bit busy so go in a morning if you can. Glad we had a guide or else we wouldn’t have learnt as much as we did. The rifle range is well worth the money if you’re into shooting guns. The Mekong delta was not as good as I had hoped but it was still a worth while experience.
Had a great time with Lockie. Great and entertaining tour guide. Brought us around and shared with us the history of the city.
