Cu Chi underground tunnels: Located 60km from Ho Chi Minh City, Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role during the American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its network of tunnels, which extend over 220km, and is a popular destination for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors.

Itinerary
- Our tour guide will give you an overview introduction to Cu Chi and its legendary history. A documentary film about the tunnels will explain the tunnel's histories and how fierce the war was in the area
- Visit the tunnel system, including recreated tunnels, living areas, meeting rooms, weapon storage, and other sections. - Participate in hands-on activities such as pounding rice and grinding paddy (if included in the itinerary)
Shooting Experience (self- sufficient) & free offer for speciality of Cu Chi - The shooting range allows you to test real weapons once used during the Vietnam War, including the AK-47, M16, and Carbine rifle. This is not only an opportunity to learn about military history but also to gain a realistic sense of what occurred during the war. - The area is strictly managed to ensure everyone's safety. You will receive thorough instructions on how to safely operate the firearms before practicing live shooting at designated targets. - A light food by the local people such as cassava and ice tea

Pickup Locations & Times
We provide hotel pickup for all guests staying in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Our guide will meet you directly at your hotel lobby for pickup. If your hotel is outside District 1, please make your way to our meeting point at 113 Ký Con, Bến Thành, Hồ Chí Minh.

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was informative and very interesting to learn about the war and how those of that time survived underground. We enjoyed a nice stop at the art gallery along the way. Thank you to our guide Ha. If we were to be critical, we didn’t realise a half-day tour went until 7pm

It is a great tour, essential for those who visit Vietnam. The guide was excellent, had plenty of knowledge, recorded videos and it was all very fun. My only observation is that it is NOT a 4-hour walk. It's a whole day walk. I saw other full-day tours, but had chosen this in particular for saying that it was 4h, but this information does not proceed (there is time to pick the tourists in their hotels, pick the road, pause on the way...) Go in time and have fun!

However, the travel distance from District 1 in Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi and back takes almost half a day (around 1.5 hours each way). Great experience and value for money! Everything was according to the description, pick up from our hotel in district 1, stop along the route to a workshop of paintings, then the tunnels with the guide speaking good English and well prepared to answer all our questions. Overall all was smooth and a good use of our time and money.
